I'm only up to issue #13 of the IDW TMNT series, but seeing the covers to City Fall, it seems like a vastly different art style and character design. Could someone quickly explain that?
Thanks.

Whoops, meant to post this in the comic books area. Sorry guys. Please ignore this.

Literally just a change in artist.

IDW TMNT does that a lot.

Well, it wasn't JUST a change in artist.

According to artist Mateus Santolouco, Nickelodeon had asked IDW for some subtle changes in design.

Because they have different artists coming in.

Yeah, switch in artist and steadily pulling influence from the show. All the wraps and everything like they wear as well as features differing for each Turtle.

In my experience with comics, usually the character design stays more of less the same even if the art style changes. That clearly isn't the case here and that's fine.

Does the writing stay the same?

Also, this is the art the game is based on, right?
