I'm guessing we all have the same questions here: Why is he bad? Why is he chasing after Casey and April? What are his motives?
Discussion time. I'm guessing he becomes bad because: he likes being a bad guy instead of a good guy, someone lures him to the dark side, or he twists the story of his mutation in that the turtles are at fault and it's not his own. Now why would he be chasing after April and Casey? My only theories are that it's revealed that he knows April and likes her, and goes after Casey in jealousy. The other theory revolves around the other theory that Casey is Mutagen Man's brother. Finally what could his evil motives be? Take a swing at it

We'll find out in S2!

But I honestly think he loses his mind when he mutates.

I think he's like the hulk, if he's attacked, he goes berserk, and Casey must have attacked him

I don't think he becomes bad just because. Maybe he's upset because Don's not working on a cure fast enough to suit him. As for Casey, it's likely that he attacks Tim without knowing who he is and mistakes him for someone who's attacking April. We'll find out in season 2.

Well the fact that Mikey, Leo, and Raph never liked Timothy from the start, makes it easier to fathom why he may attack them. April possibly because he feels that Donnie cares more about her than finding a cure for him and may take his frustration out on her. Timothy may know Casey from earlier in his childhood which may make sense if Casey has this bully, tough guy persona.

But the fact we never saw Donatello in the Mutagen Man fight scenes in the trailer leaves a few possibilities open. Donnie's role leading up to this is pretty much is the X Factor of how this all goes down.

Well the fact that Mikey, Leo, and Raph never liked Timothy from the start,I can understand why. Never liked his idiocy and stubborness. It is as Master Splinter said, he is indeed "a doofus".

I like him more as a mindless monster, sadly. Hope Nick keeps him like that for a loong time.

That makes sense about the turtles. I think it would be really interesting if Casey bullied Timothy when they were kids. It would make some great character tension!

I'm just glad he won't be so annoying anymore...maybe. Jeez I couldn't stand that character.

The Puliverizer Returns is hands down the darkest episode of the new Nick Series. And I'm kind of shocked and appalled that there's been no mention of the fact that this kid's been living in a tank in Don's lab since that episode.

It's horrifying.
I'm hoping that the Season 2 furthering of that plot keeps all that in mind.

So far,all we know is he'll play a bigger role in season 2. Beyond that, it's anyone's guess how he'll be handled.

As far as Mutagen Man being a mindless monster, I have doubts. The way he's able to control his suit and movement (having his shapeless ooze body taking the form of limbs, tying Leo up with his... Mouth cord- GOD, this is one of the sickest/coolest mutant designs ever!) suggests a level of control, same with his mannerisms - compared to the moment he mutated, he seems to have gone from a snarling, wide eyed monster to having more human like expressions and reactions.

As far as what vital role he will play... I honestly have no clue. It's possible he could go rogue and runs away from Donnie's care to find a different kind of help and the Turtles have to track him down before things get worse- or maybe his superhero obsession inspires him to prove he'd be a far better hero than Turtles, and a fit of jealousy hits him when they try to take him back to the lair.

Maybe, like the original Mutagen Man, he's forced to do the enemies bidding in some way-

Again, it's anyone's guess.
