Match 2 in Round 2 is set to get started. Match 1 ended in really no surprise. So let's how this one turns out. It's Karai's first two episodes, it's the second episode versus the first episode. (They're in that order, remember!) 8 vs. 9. Should be a good one.

Notice: Polls in Round 2 will last 48 hours.

New Girl In Town for me. Plus it had Snakeweed.

I really like both episodes, but Alien Agenda wins it for me. It's one of my favorite episodes of the show to date. I really like the Raph and Leo dynamic in it, Justin was a pretty fun mutant, and I liked Karai interacting with more than just Leo or Shredder (and, briefly, Raph). I always liked that Karai was willing to go behind Shredder's back in this episode in order to find out more about the Kraang, and how she managed to even find a way to get him interested in them as well. It was a smart, fun episode, with some great character moments.

They were both great episodes and among my personal favorites. I would put them as equals, but with a tiny bias towards New Girl in Town, as it introduced Karai and I loved her first meeting with Leo.

If I had to pick (since it's too bad I didn't get to vote:tgrumble:), it would be "New Girl in Town." Here's why this one was better: the story was focused. Leo gave Raph the challenge to lead, he met Karai, has a crush on Karai, Snakeweed is still at large, Raph realizes he can't lead that well, and he and Leo work together to stop Snakeweed. I don't know. I felt that it was an important episode for the team.

As I think about it - while "The Alien Agenda" was great as an episode, as for personal enjoyment, it's not one of my favorites. Here's why:

Justin was a ridiculous excuse for a mutant, and I felt he had no place in the real story. Also, I was led to believe that the turtles would have this Kraang battle in April's high school since the internet and previews were making a big deal about the high school. I was looking forward to that episode, but as soon as Karai showed up, I was like, "Now? We're going back to Karai now?":trolleye: So, I was a little disappointed we didn't get to see any of the classrooms for the turtles to look in, or even the cafeteria. That would have been cool.

And lastly - Karai was mean. Mean to Leo during their "break-up" flirt and mean at the Kraang lab where she abandoned all the turtles. Just like Donnie, I wanted to say, "I don't know who she is, but I hate her!":tmad: Plus, I like Leo. He's one of my favorite characters of the show and the entire franchise. But every time Karai shows up, I feel like his common sense goes out the window. It's sometimes funny to see a leader act stupid in front of a girl, but it was kind of funny in "New Girl in Town" than it was for this. I mean, thank god it only happened in two episodes. I mean, I liked where he bounced back saying that he'd come after her if she'd hurt his brothers. Still, Leo's better than she is. He needs to stay away from her for good . . . unless Karai joins their side, officially, once she discovers she's Miwa.

It's not a terrible episode, but it's one that I find too much to handle. I don't like episodes like that, but this had it's great moments. Mikey's girlish scream, the high school scene (except the "Mother Hubbard" line), and Leo electrocuting Justin. In fact, some of you should see the YouTube video where it looks like he's killing Justin Bieber. It's hilarious.:tlol:
