I picked "Never Say Xever." While I liked "New Friend, Old Enemy," I was really impressed with this one. Xever was a cool villain, Murikami is a great, new original character (that has potential in the future), and I especially loved seeing Leo growing into leader. When I first read the synopsis, I thought his move would be based on something Captain Ryan did on Space Heroes, but it wasn't. It was all what he believed in (and what he was taught from Splinter).:twink:
Yet, I even liked some of the chemistry between the brothers. They had some great scenes, especially when Mike was talking about getting a face tattoo, and his face turns into the head of OT Mikey.:tlol:
Besides that, it is just a very good episode that cannot be missed.

Seeing as Never Say Xever is also at the top of my list, it's obvious I'd vote for it here. I've always liked Xever more than Bradford, and this was a great introductory episode for him. Lots of great moments with all the Turtles, some of the best animation in the series to date, a new friend for the Turtles, and just a great story. Love it!
(Man am I gonna miss Kenny Byerly on this show...)

Never Say Xever, I love that episode.
Although I enjoyed New Friend Old Enemy, it isn't in the same league for me personally as Never say Xever.
Both were good but the latter had a more interesting story IMHO, some good developments, lots of variety, some amazing moments with the turtles, and some of the best animation in the series yet.

New Friend, Old Enemy. Mikey needs to have human friends besides April.

I'm gonna go for Never Say Xever. I enjoy New Friend:Old Enemy, but It has problems that I'd like to address.
Splinter sees the boys practicing the Kata mikey learned from Bradford and panics, shortly after, Leo easily deduces that the kata belongs to the Shredder.....TOO easily quite frankly. Mikey is also an idiot in this episode As He trusts a person who is obviously the villain and wants him dead and risks exposure in front of a random human, just to return his CAT no less. Still he does make up for it by defeating the villain with his own kata.
Ooh...votes! :D
And this is a lot closer than I thought it'd be.

"Never Say Xever" mainly because it's a Leo centered episode and I loved how he said, "Get out of here" to Fong. That was so badass.
