I see we think alike! The only difference is for Nick, I like Raph and Donnie best. I just love Rob being back in the TMNT (even voicing a different turtle) and I love their personalities in this version.

As for IDW, Don was the button-pusher in early issues, but I think he is beginning to tone it down now that they've found Raph. His only real issue with Leo is about them being reincarnated- as a science, fact-oriented guy, he has trouble believing is something that can't be seen or proven. It makes sense for him, and I like it. And his surprise when Mikey explained it so elegantly in video game terms was priceless!

Ditto. And yes, Mikey is wise. He explained it simple and straightforward!

Gosh I need to read that issue again. I admit the reincarnation didn't sit well with me at first but after several re-readings, I got goosebumps and accept it. It's a very bold and fresh origin story they had came up with yet!

Mirage - Leonardo
Archie - Raphael
Fred Wolf - I guess Raphael, but they're all pretty terrible.

Movie 2 - Donatello

I never watched more than a couple episodes of The Next Mutation, so I don't really have an opinion there. It was just awful.

Fred Wolf: Michelangelo
Archie: Ah, you know what? No one really has much a personality here. Probably April or Splinter, or one of the villains based on cool-factor.

Original Movie Trilogy: Michelangelo

This post may get a tad monotonous

Comics
Mirage - Raphael
IDW - Raphael (I LOVE this different take on Raphael. He's still Raph, but so very lost

TV
Fred Wolf including Red Sky - Raphael (especially Red Sky episodes)
The Next Mutation - Raphael
4 Kids including Fast Forward and Back to the Sewers - Donatello
Nickelodeon - Raphael

Film
Film 1 - Raphael
Film 2 - Raphael (just barely - he's 'a little too Raph' in this one)
Film 3 - No-one! They all infuriate me!
TMNT - Raphael (my favourite ever version of Raph)
Turtles Forever - 2k3 Donatello / OT Raphael / Mirage Raphael
Ninja Turltes - Raphael

Can't comment on Image, Archie or Coming out of their Shells as I've never read / seen them.

Flipping it on its head.... Favourite version of each character:

Leonardo - Nickelodeon - I love how he is learning and developing as a leader
Donatello - Platinum Dunes - I can't even describe why I love this Donnie so much, but I really do.
Raphael - TMNT 2007 - Due to great animation and great voice acting, you can really feel that this character is in emotional pain
Michelangelo - Nickelodeon - He is so damn cute and so damn funny.

Splinter - Nickelodeon
April - IDW
Casey - Film 1
Shredder - IDW
Karai - TMNT 2007

Sounds like there's no love for Mikey above, but I like him a lot in almost all iterations.

Welp, here we go...

OT: Raph followed by Mikey (originally). When I revisited the series as an adult, I found Donny to more interesting than I ever gave him credit for.

Movie 1: Raph and Mikey
Movie 2: Mikey
Movie 3: Even though I didn't care for this film, I did like Mikey and Raph.
Movie 4: No one.

Archie: Raph followed by Donny. I really felt that Leo and Mikey were shafted, though for it.

Mirage: Donny and Mikey

2k12 series: This is actually a tough one for me now. When I first started this series, it was definitely Leo and Donnie. This is the first iteration that I've been exposed to where I favored Leo. At this point in the show, the favortism is sorta changing towards Mikey and Raph...so yeah. I guess I'd have to say all four.

Oh, as for a "non-turtle" favorite, and it's rare for me to have a favorite non-turtle character, it would have to be....

*drum roll*

OT Casey Jones. He was insane and crazed! Loved him and he's still amusing even now to me. Still sucks he wasn't in the OT as much as I thought he was.

Other favorite, movie 1 Casey. Loved that portrayal of him.

I can honestly say that I've never favored April for any iteration. I've never found her to be all that interesting, but I've never disliked the character. Well, that goes for all of them. Even though I don't favor the character, doesn't mean I dislike the character.

Don and Mikey for all incarnations!

Except for Nick. I guess I would pick Raph for that one.

In all iterations that I am acquainted with, Leo remains my favourite. So I guess I shall rank my 2nd favourite turtle in each version instead.

Mirage - Raph
Fred Wolf - None, or maybe Mikey
90s Movie - Raph
Next Mutation - Raph
TMNT 2007 - Raph
4Kids - Mikey (his voice actor made the character iconic to me)
Nick - Raph (very close to my favourite Leo)
IDW - Raph and Donnie ex-aequo

1987-Donatello
90's movie trilogy-Donatello(again)
2007-Donatello(I love that purple turtle).

2014-Donatello(I really love that purple turtle).

Hey, that's pretty clever :) Same here, Leo's my all time favorite as well. But I used to prefer Mikey from '87 show back in my childhood days - I think I even used to have a crush on Mikey :toops:

Mirage Comics: Michelangelo. He was the most empathetic, easygoing and optimistic of the four, had a gentle and creative side, but wasn't obnoxious like each new version seems to increasingly be. My favourite version of my favourite Turtle.

1987 Cartoon: Michelangelo again. Based mostly on nostalgia, but hey, he was a lot of fun.

Archie Comics: Michelangelo. I really liked how they matured him a bit from the '87 version. Felt like a merging of '87 and Mirage, kind of.

1990 Movie: April O'Neil. Judith Hoag is the best.

TMNT2/SotO: Donatello. He had the closest thing to a legitimate character arc in the movie with his "existential crisis" moment, and I found Adam Carl's performance a lot more likable than Corey Feldman's.

TMNT3: ShhhhhIdunno. Mikey, I guess? They were all more irritating in this one, but Robbie Rist was the perfect Mikey voice and he did what he could with this one.

2003 Cartoon: Leonardo. I thought this show handled him the best of any non-comics version at this point. Michael Sinterniklaas' voice still comes to mind first when I think of the character. He showed some growth and layers as a character here that I really appreciated.

2007 Movie: Leo again! A lot of people really hate his portrayal here, and the script needed some work in that regard, but I liked his struggle with leadership and the performance by James Arnold Taylor.

IDW Comics: Michelangelo, for the usual reasons.

2012 Cartoon: Leonardo. A pretty great representation of him overall. Playing up his development as a leader against some teenage "growing pains" has been well-done. And I've been able to roll with the repeated voice changes pretty well, so hey, points for that.

BayTurtles: Bernadette Thompson, for being the only character to make a single intelligent decision in firing Megan O'Fox.

Left out Image and The Next Mutation as I haven't read/seen enough to know for sure.
