I was wondering if any of you knew of any restoration projects involving original TMNT movie props?

I know of a screen-used Leonardo stunt suit (http://www.tomspinadesigns.com/restoration-teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-movie-costume_files/Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtle-Movie-Costume-Restoration-Display-2_1.jpg) and a production-made baby Turtle (http://www.tomspinadesigns.com/restoration-teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-movie-costume_files/Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtle-Puppet-Restoration_1.jpg) from the first film, both done by the masters at Tom Spina Designs (http://www.tomspinadesigns.com/restoration-teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-movie-costume.html).

This video shows the process that went into restoring a screen-used Raphael movie suit from the sequel. The sai are replicas. The work was done in 2011 by KMD Artistry (https://www.facebook.com/pages/KMD-Artistry/255106340099) (they more recently revived another beloved Henson creation, Baby Sinclair (https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn2/1047966_10151679336080100_296052764_o.jpg) from the '90s TV show Dinosaurs). Raph was later auctioned off for $7,080 (http://www.icollector.com/Complete-Raphael-costume-on-display-from-Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles-II-The-Secret-of-the-Ooze_i10499875) to The Children's Museum of Indianapolis (http://www.childrensmuseum.org/).

Does anyone know of any others?

Can't say I do but thanks for sharing this. I appreciate their effort but Raph's face looks like a done up corpse and the shell looks way off in design.

It does look a little off, what a shame. I wonder If maybe somebody else could have done a better job restoring it.

Tom Spina would work marvels on that Raph.

that pose drawing is terrible, legs and hands might be legit but i would throw out the rest and maybe hire someone who can sculpt better one
