Everybody is talking about Donnie/April, Donnie/Casey, but honestly, I'm more interested in how this story is going to play out.

With Timothy becoming Mutagen Man, how do you guys think this story will play out?

Will Donnie want to fight Timothy, despite the actions that we see Tim will do to Donnie's brothers.
Will Timothy want to fight Donnie? (perhaps his only friend based on what we've seen so far).
Will Timothy blame Donatello for his mutation?
Will this distract Donatello towards his feelings for April much like April was distracted with her dad being gone in Season 1?
Will Timothy effect the Donnie/April/Casey story if Casey in fact plays a role in his past.

Thoughts?

I think since it looks likesim Kirby is going to me Mutated early on in the season premier, and by that I mean in the first five minutes before the opening theme song.

April doesn't blame Donnie or any of the Turtles for her fathers mutation. But she feels rather upset that her own father is a mutant now.

This will cause Donnie to double his efforts to try and cure the Pulverizer. However Donnie either fails in an attempt or Mutagen man is able to form arms and legs on his own. Timmy gets mad and attacks wounds Donnie. Not seriously, but certainly enough to prevent him from fighting for the most part.

He's angry at Donnie and accuses him for not warning him about what the Mutagen would turn him into. Even though Donnie had tried to stop Timmy from undergoing the mutation process.

I'm sensing the start of emotional baggage in the form of guilt for Donnie.

Or maybe I'm hoping for some emotional baggage, I dunno.

I'm sensing that too. Donnie in particular seems to be set up for some huge stuff in the coming series. And I'm worried about what he may end up having to do in order to correct a wrong.

If Mutagen Man drips Mutagen from his fingers... what if he mutated Kirby?

Well in a sense his cleverness is his achilles heel. Like Raph can use his temper to spur himself on to be a fiercer fighter but it can be self-destructive.

Donnie's going to find out that there's some things he can't solve with mathematical solutions.

We don't know for certain as of yet, but it could be possible that the Mutagen does crystallize with prolonged exposure to air. We've seen tons of mutagen getting dumped out in certain episodes such as the mutagen bomb in the Gauntlet. And some how only Dogpound & Fishface were born from it, and yet there aren't any other mutations or any talk about unexplained phosphorescent goo suddenly spilling into the streets.

If this theory is correct and the Mutagen does crystallize with exposure to air. Maybe Donnie is forced to break the container that is protecting Timmy thus far causing him to crystallize. But Donnie doesn't see it as a victory.

If Mutagen Man drips Mutagen from his fingers... what if he mutated Kirby?

I was under the impression the mutagen his body is made of is more acidic now, "HE ATE OUR WEAPONS!"
From the looks of it, Kirby will get hit from one of the canisters that fly out of the ship.

Now, as for the Donnie and Timothy situation... I don't think there's any possible way he can cure him. With mutants like Dogpound, Fishface, Kirby- I can see him finding away to change them back to normal. But with Mutagen Man? There's nothing TOO change back to normal. He didn't mutate his body, he disintegrated it. The only way I can see him "Fixing" Tim would be putting his mind in another body.

As of right now, Donny has to make due with what he has, and the best thing he can offer Tim is the container body, latex arms and legs to walk around with, and a microphone. How Timothy will react is anyone's guess... I mean, I can see him freaking out and attacking Donnie in rage... and at the same time, I could see him recklessly leaving the sewers to show the city there's a new hero in town, freaks everyone out, Turtles try to stop him, he says their jealous, yada yada...

Actually, watching that new season 2 clip with Mutagen Man at the beginning, it looks like he's holding something in his left hand. If I had to guess, I'd say he's trying to do a good deed by returning something to someone, similar to how Mikey tried returning the cat in season one. The difference, though... Mikey knew when it was time to bail.

I'm really looking forward to the story arc with this guy.

I have no idea what to speculate lol! I was one of the guys who had no idea Mutagen Man was coming because I didn't read that article posted a few weeks before Pulverizer Returns so when my sweetie was like,"Oh wow now he's just a bunch of organs in a container," I nearly hit the roof with surprise and excitement.

I hope he tries to play the part of a hero. Tim seems very optimistic as a human anyway. He knows he's clumsy but that doesn't keep him from attempting to do good. Maybe the mutagen itself will help him maintain his rational self? I'm wondering if it'll act like an addictive substance. He or Don discovers that when exposed to it, it seems to serve as a type of energy or food sorce. Problem is he'll need more and more as the season goes along to keep himself from becoming mindless. I'm merely speculating and totally ok if this doesn't come to pass. Shredder could somehow learn of this and obtain Tim's services. I can see him saying something like,"If you refuse to serve me I'll see that you become a threat to this city rather than a hero." Who knows, really? Problem with that is if Tim is capable of making decisions, he might not like the idea of working for Shredder even if tingrin has what he needs. But part of me does see him agreeing and being an unwilling minion.

I'm just hoping they don't pull the whole,"You did this to me!" thing with Tim and Don. Although Tim is a teen and the teens I know often hide behind blaming others. So that's also possible. I guess I'd be cool with it. I'm just pumped for this arc. The writers are awesome so I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it. And I still can't get that mutation scene from his debut out of my head. It's actually given me a few nightmares. But that doesn't stop me from being thrilled with the introduction of this character.
