WOW! Good stuff kiddies! :) Being nearly thirty-years-old, I kinda missed TMNT the first time around. I DID, however, score TONS of "original" TMNT figures/toys via yard sales. I just wanted to say that the new figures are AWESOME. I have been collecting the new MOTU figures for about a year now, but I am getting VERY frustrated (as well as MANY of my fellow collectors....) with the QUALITY of the new line. Half of my 2002 MOTU figures are BROKEN in some way! C'mon Mattel, they are T O Y S that are meant to be played with!!
......Sorry for that rant. The point is, I went to WallyMart this morning expecting to buy a couple MOTU figures, but settled on:
-Mikey
-Don
-Casey
....And I couldn't be happier. Not only are they 100% better in QUALITY than the new MOTU figures, but they are ALSO $2~$3 CHEAPER; and MUCH easier to find! I think I'm falling for this new line......hope my girl doesn't read this..... :P

Don't worry about it. I just never heard it being called that. I guess people call it that so cool. Very catchy. :D And for the vehicle the Battle Shell is big and cool and the Shell Cycle. I haven't seen the Sewer Slider other than a box in the store. But the Battle Shell has some wicked shooters but I think it needs more doors that can open. The bike is wicked and it has a cool way to shoot. I would reccomend them all but for a first I would say the bike. IMO. Although the Sewer Slider might be cool as well I haven't seen it.

All three vehicles are good. If you're the type who likes the big ones, I'd say go for the Battle Shell, the price is usually good (around $20) for what it is, and it sports four firing missles. The top hatch opens so you can place the figures inside to ride in. That's the first vehicle I bought, anyway. If you want a cheaper/smaller one, I'd go with the Shell Cycle over the Sewer Slider. It's not much of a "riding in" toy, cuz it's a motorcycle after all, but it is cool, and features a button which opens a hatch on the front, and another button which fires a projectile from it. It's usually around $10-$12. Same with the Sewer Slider. That little vehicle is really cool for what it is, though, and it's a semi-ride in vehicle. It comes with 6 discs which are stacked and fired individually, (remininscent of the old pizza-thrower mechanism). The cool thing is that it can be a car-type vehicle, with four wheels, or a "hover"-type vehicle when you flip the wheels down. For the price, and if you like vehicles, I'd go with the Battle Shell.

Thanks for the input guys. One of my favorites from the original line was the Turtle Van, so I'll go with the "Battle Shell". I'm going to stop by SweatShopMart in about an hour and grab:
-Battle Shell
-Leo
-Raph
-Master
-Shredder
-Foot
-husky thug guy (?)
-April
....I wish I could snag the Lair, but I have not seen it. :) I think (from what I have seen...) I like the OG Sewer playset better. The new one strikes me as the GhostBuster's playset or Castle Grayskull. Sixty clams should get me all of that stuff, eh? No sales tax here.....
If anyone needs a certain figure, just lmk and I'll grab 'em for cost+shipping. Have Fun!
:D
