Joining the cast this season is Josh Peck (Drake & Josh), who voices teenage hockey player Casey Jones, a rebel who enjoys taking on the bad guys. TMNT also stars Sean Astin (as Raphael), Rob Paulsen (Donatello), Greg Cipes (Michelangelo), Jason Biggs (Leonardo), Mae Whitman (April O'Neil), Hoon Lee (Master Splinter) and Kevin Michael Richardson (Shredder). Corey Feldman recurs as Slash.

Yeah, Bikermice from Mars was one of my favorite cartoons back in the 90's. I remember (and I still do) really liking Throttle's voice. It was an amazing badass voice, and seemed quite different in comparison with most of the characters (from series I've seen) Rob Paulsen voiced.


I wouldn't have guessed Throttle was voiced by Rob Paulsen if I hadn't seen the credits. The series had a lot of great voice actors, another voice I really enjoyed in that series (although not relevant to this thread) was Morgan William Sheppard as Lawrence Limburger, he really had a way with words.

While I agree that there are more important things to talk about in season two, I am already putting my money on the table and saying that the narrator was Irma. I doubt it was Zach considering: we didn't see any early concept art of him and since it's confirmed that Irma is already going to be in the show (nothing was said about Zach) and we saw that clip of her of being hit with a puck by Casey in the school hallways and from what it looks like (in my opinion) it looks they want to make her look like a dork; I got a dork vibe when hearing the narration.

Sorry guys. The only reason why I am making a "big deal" is because Irma is one of my favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters and I am just happy she is going to be in the new incarnation.

Yes? :p It's relevant because the gender of the person could be an important clue. Is the narration a new character or a random citizen recounting things they have witnessed? It could be Irma or Zach for example. The later is probably a long shot though since we have no evidence of that.

I meant that the fact that they're the trailer narrator is possibly an indication that it's a character that's going to come into play in the show. We can tell it's not Casey. It's certainly not Mutagen Man or Slash. Who else do we have left that we know for a fact is coming? Irma.

There was a clip? Dang, I missed it. And for some reason, my video viewing is hit-or-miss lately, as most sites keep telling me to download and install Adobe Flash- even though I have the latest version installed already! :teek::tconfuse::tgrumble:

Try uninstalling and re-installing Adobe Flash. I had that issue once and it seemed to help.

It's getting annoying, as my troubleshooter finds no problems, and it appears completely random. The pc is a TB hard drive and relatively new, and has never given me any major problems with video/graphics, etc. Heck, it runs my games without difficulty, and this problem only recently popped up.

The clip wasn't as funny as I hoped, it seems the show is relying on the same character tropes rather than progressing the characters. I hope this season isn't a sophomore slump that happens to most shows in their second year.

I just assumed "Biotroid" was the name of the Humanoid Kraang suits. I'm looking forward to the second season and the Mutagen rain on the city. Mutagen Man looks horrifying, and I like the narrator's voice. And I dunno, it sounds like a girls voice to me. I'd be satisfied with it if it were Irma's voice.

I was hoping to see more of the Foot Clan in second season though, so I hope they have a bigger role. The trailer only focuses on the mutations we'll be seeing.

I think as the plots move on things will start to change for the turtles. Like last season we saw Leo grow as a leader, In my opinion I think hey'll be more of a risk taker when it comes to missions now :)

The way I see it these 'info' threads are not just for posting solid factual info we find, but also for anticipation/theorizing on upcoming stuff. I really felt the same thing a little bit...but for now I just want to trust the team to-again- be better than we give them credit for in the beginning..

I just assumed "Biotroid" was the name of the Humanoid Kraang suits. I'm looking forward to the second season and the Mutagen rain on the city. Mutagen Man looks horrifying, and I like the narrator's voice. And I dunno, it sounds like a girls voice to me. I'd be satisfied with it if it were Irma's voice.

I was hoping to see more of the Foot Clan in second season though, so I hope they have a bigger role. The trailer only focuses on the mutations we'll be seeing.

Yeah once I reread all those positive news spots online my cancelation phobia tends to shut itself off for a while. Maybe with the success of this show, other writers will wise up and get aboard the more mature cartoons bandwagon. Aside from this one, not much else for a lover of Superhero cartoons to watch. Too many shows involving characters running around making no sense at all. But yeah, pumped for Oct 12!

Are you kidding? That would have been friggin awesome to see. But yeah, kids would probably have nightmares about all the melting flesh and such. But I get the feeling that the writers are certainly pushing to make this guy as scary as they can. That's good since I for one love the horror genre. Also can't wait for the Squirrelanoid since I like the homage the writers are paying to Xenomorphs.

Yeah, looking at Zap2it, it would appear that "Mutation Situation" is a one parter, since they had two separate listings for both "Rise" and "Showdown", but just one "Mutation".

I'm a little confused right now, but it will make more sense as the episodes actually air.

Looking on the bright side, even though there isn't a new episode on Oct. 26th, we got the Wii game coming out that week. I'll just play through that on Saturday instead lol.

The way the first season worked out in terms of broadcasting meant, on average, we got an episode every other week. It isn't really ideal, but out of our hands.

I do like your suggestion though, particularly if Part 1 of the season leaves on a cliffhanger. You could air Part 1 for 13 weeks, have 13 weeks off, air Part 2 for 13 weeks and then have another 13 week break before the next season aired. :)

At least with one episode every two weeks, (Except for a two-parter) you would keep a feeling of progression, knowing the next episode is never that far away.

Truedat. My fiancé thinks they're showing so many reruns between new episodes because they're trying to keep the kids caught up with the story. That sort of makes sense because allot of the stuff in animation these days involves so much of that Regular Show Unclegrandpa randomness with very few cartoons doing ongoing story arcs. lol she's gonna be mad because she hates this new episode every other week trend.

I couldn't help but feel sorry for Timothy, he seems confused/angry and I wonder what kind of picture he's holding in his hand. I noticed Donatello was the only one not being held by Timothy in that scene, if he has any memories left of the turtles, hopefully he remembers Donatello the most.

Leo getting in a hit on Karai, and she seems about to fall from the roof. Really looking forward to more Leo/Karai fights and interactions.


Finally watched the first promo as well. Mikey in that costume, good thing I just finished my drink, otherwise it would have been all over my keyboard right now.

This season does seem to be pretty nasty, but looking great. Animation, coloring, everything seems to be a step better than before.

That definitely sounds interesting and would make sense. I haven't watched the earlier promos so I may have missed something about that.


I'm very curious what Mutagen Man's motivations will be in that episode. Donnie may be the only one of the turtles who can still reach Timothy, as the others didn't care much for him or his new mutant form last season.

Even in the training session? I assume the ball thing is a training session Mikey tells him to lighten up, that's kind of what happened in the 2003 series, everyday one was noticing him acting too obsessed with training and being serious. Top of that, for one reason every ones shocked he has idea :ohwell:

Also, didn't see the last promo but, YES! Karai and Leo still fighting, guess that means Splinter hasn't spilled the beans yet to him. Okay after watching those season two clips I'm so excited for the 2nd season of tmnt. :D
Oh and i can picture ninja dodge ball being one of those games where it turns really violent (of course I'm sure it won't be that bad on the nick show). I mean just picture it. Someone just nails a person in the back of the head. Boom! Concussion. Actually I'm thinking it's the other way around. I think he's going to blame April for Donnie not having found a cure for him because he's too distracted with his feelings for her.

Which would explain the clip where Casey saves April from Mutagen Man in the earlier promos.

That's a good idea. It's possible Timothy begins to slowly crack from being stuck in the lab, and starts to come to his own theories as to why he's not back to normal.

Imagine if he begins second guessing Donatello to the point where he thinks Donnie's deliberately keeping him in that state so he's out of the way. Actually, even without Mutagen Man obsessing over her, it's still a darker turn for the character- He knows everyone can't stand him, and begins to think Donatello's the same way and all he has to do is keep him locked up and out of sight is to make excuses as to why it's taking so long.

Coming back to why he's after April, what if he goes after her as a means to motivate Don and fix him, or, turn him into the kind of mutant he was hoping to become.

The concept art for the MM did mention he was powered by mutagen, and I remember the 90's toy mentioned it as well.

I like the idea of it acting like an addictive substance that he required to live. It makes for a great plot element to put more pressure on Donnie to cure him.

note that iTunes calls it "season 3" -- this is becuase, in case you haven't payed attention up until now, they split season 1 into two different digital seasons.

So if you buy it, just be aware that you will only get the first 12 (or 13 or 14, depends how they split it) episodes. the next half will be "season 4" judging by past experience

Casey/Leo interactions would be pretty nice. Although it was said Casey will develop a "relation" with each of the turtles, that's definitely one of the things I'm looking forward to.

In the 2k3 series Casey had, except for Raph, the most interaction with Leo. (In comparison with Mikey and Don) Leo went to him to fight against the Purple Dragons together and he always seemed more "protective" about Casey, especially in the later seasons.

I'm really looking forward to the Karai/Leo part as well, there's so much potential hidden within their characters. I enjoyed their interactions in season 1 and they had a lot of chemistry. (I mean in their writing and interactions)

There was a picture on DA with Karai crying in Leo's arms and his brothers watching. If/When the big reveal comes something like that "could" happen.


For me personally character interactions/character development are/is one the strongest points in this series, and that's why I guess I was a bit disappointed with the continued focus on mutants and the Kraang. I'm looking forward to see Mutagen Man in action though, I hope he'll be on the turtles' side eventually.

There's no seperate section for characters who are independent or only out for themselves.

Newtralizer may not be a real enemy, but it does seem he may oppose the turtles at every turn. At least for the time being.


As for Karai, another member brought it up I believe, but Karai being the only one who doesn't appear physically but only as a "reflection" might be a little hint to her character. In a way, she might want to follow/mirror her father's footsteps, but in contrast to her father still has a chance for redemption.

As for Baxter, it's possible he might only play a minor role, and the characters being showcased are the more important villains in this season.

Baxter Stockman thinks of himself as a villain, but the Turtles don't all that much. As Mikey pointed out he could name 5 bad guys who are more likely to be seen as a nemesis.

He's more like an irritation in many ways, particularly with how predictable he has become.
