Just felt like sharing this with everyone, but next year I'm gonna go to the MegaCon in Orlando Florida, and Kevin Eastman is gonna be there!! I've honestly never been more excited for a con and I can't wait to meet him. So getting something tmnt signed.

Youll enjoy it bro! Kevin is real chill... met him for the first time in may this year and again a couple of weeks ago. Have fun!

I still haven't met him and he lived here in AZ until recently :(
Hope he comes back to either Phoenix comic conventions.

Is Peter Laird officially retired from all things tmnt? I recently read he commented about Megan Fox as April on his blog..

I've met him in october 2012. He's such a down to earth kinda guy. Very nice & humble! I hope you'll be having a blast!

Hope it goes well. He's scheduled to come to the only Con I can go to (Heroescon) next year and hope to meet him myself. Just thinking about it I have a mild panic attack.

Hey I'm from TN and I NEVER miss HEROESCON! My buddy called a couple of months ago when they announced this and I almost needed smelling salts because I just about fell over. I can't wait to have him sign my MIB figures.

I just recently read that Kevin told Peter about being offered a chance to star a cameo role in the new movie but for several reasons, he declined. I really hope he'll participate in something for the 30th anniversary.

Yeah I think he had a bit of a TMNT burn out. He does the odd signing, most recently at Shellback Artworks (Steve Lavigne's art and comic store) and puts up the odd post on his blog, but for the most part he seems to be taking a break from TMNT...

Would love to meet Eastman, he always comes across as an awesome guy!

Yeah I'm highly excited too! I live in Knoxville. You live in west TN? In case you didn't know, our Wal Marts now have the new waves of figures. I have them all except for the Mousers.

I'm not willing to give my city away, but yeah, i'm pretty close to you. I have seen the new line but other than the mousers haven't been able to catch any when I have the cash. That aside, good luck when you meet Mr. Eastman.

I'm wondering if Peter Laird will ever get involved with anything TMNT again? I always leaned more towards Laird than I do Eastman because I feel that Laird knows who the TMNT truly are (and not just because he is co-creator). While Laird can be a bit conservative at times, he helped the turtles get back on their feet with the Volume Four comics and the 2k3 series. If I were to visit one, it probably wouldn't be the same without the other. :(

It seems that Kevin is finding time in his schedule to branch out beyond SDCC and NYCC for the 30th anniversary. I just learned that he will be a guest at Heroes Con in Charlotte next June, the one I can drive to. First time he has ever appeared. Peter and the Mirage Dudes did back in 2008 but now the other half will be there. I still have seven months to think up questions and narrow it down.:D

Im really jealous, since i live in europe the chances of meeting Eastman and getting a signed sketch seems like just a dream haha.

I take it being able to afford to fly out of the country is out then? Kevin was at a show in London this year for example, so he may do Europe again.

Well flying to london isnt to expensive so that maybe an option. But maybe i will look at ebay and try to get some signed art from there. I am actually considering starting to collect tmnt art but i think it might be pretty expensive since it isnt easy to get a hold of it in sweden.
