I haven't seen one episode yet, didn't know if it was worth it and I don't want to just join in where things are currently. Do they plan on releasing entire seasons on dvd or blu-ray for this show? The way they completely neglected to do for the 2k3 series? That's the only way I could force myself to watch it. After the OT series, and the 2k3 series ... I didn't want to put the time and effort in to watch unless I could see a majority of them on first viewing, and the ability to skip through corny, kiddified filler episodes.
As of last week, Season 1 is now fully available in stores for North America in 3 volumes, 24 episodes in all.

They've released the entire first season on DVD in the US anyway. You could also purchase the pilot from either Amazon instant video or ITunes as well as all the other episodes. I couldn't wait for the dvds so that's the road I took. Hope you enjoy it no matter how you choose to go about watching them.

I don't understand why you complain about this. The show is still new and all the episodes are on itunes and on DVD.
The entire 2k3 series is watchable online in various places too.

The first season is available on DVD already with three volumes: Rise of the Turtles, Enter Shredder, and Ultimate Showdown. They're pretty cheap, and I'm sure you could get them very easily if you know where to look. I bought all of mine at Walmart.

Because I don't want to have to download each individual episode, or buy multiple dvds to complete a season. How can you not comprehend this dude?
The entire 2k3 series is watchable online in various places too.
Which wastes too much time. I don't want to have to track down every episode on youtube, avoiding copy rights, sitting through youtube ads and watching it on my monitor.
Call me old fashion but I like box art, condensed seasons not having to buy a dvd here and there with 2 - 3 episodes on each one. I also like watching it on my tv and not on a computer screen, ipad, or smart phone.
Why do you come across as such a douche? I would like complete seasons on DVD, just like any other respected show.
As to everyone else, thanks for the help. Especially to BubblyShell22. Anyone care to say if they prefer the Nick cartoon or the 2k3 series?

I like your style, bro. I prefer physical media as well. I hate watching stuff on my damn laptop.

That's why I like my Bluray player. I can load AVIs, MP4s, and other video types to a thumb drive or the like and view them on the TV. The biggest hurdle is the time it takes to get them.

Hey welcome to the boards dude! I prefer the Nick version much much more than the 03 version. The characters aren't as bland as the 03 version. Plus I like more mutants in my show so that's a plus over the 03 version. But that's just me. I hope you enjoy the Nick version!

You don't need the DVDs to give the series ago.
There are lots of websites to watch it online. Because i don't get Nickelodeon, i watch it online while i wait for a boxset.
Because of forum rules, i can't put a link to where you can watch it.

I like both series equally really, but the Nick series is definitely awesome, and you should check it out. The DVDs I mentioned have more than three episodes: Rise of the Turtles has six eps (Rise of the Turtles is a two-parter), Enter Shredder has seven, and Ultimate Showdown has twelve on two discs. Definitely worth getting these.

The entire first season is available online without any real effort involved in finding the episodes.
Just watch the first three or four episodes to get a taster.
Don't really see the point in shelling (ahahahaha) out for a full box set for a series that I'm not convinced you'll like.
I have complete faith in the show but going by your messages, maybe I'm just reading them wrong, but you don't seem particularly thrilled at the idea of watching the Nick series, I get the impression you'll find a lot of faults with it.
At the end of the day, it is a childrens' show and if you're gonna bandy the word 'kiddified' around then this really is not the show for you.
I hope that's not the case and that you do watch and enjoy it.

A dvd of the first six episodes costs 10 bucks or you can go for the boxed Wal-Mart pack for 15. It's worth it, to me. I didn't expect much for this series either, being an old schooler, but I ended up liking it. Give it a whirl.
