Mr. Stay Puft

With last season's focus on the Kraang, and the mutagen outbreak playing a big part in season 2, does anyone think this show will ever explore the mystical aspect of TMNT that has been present in every other version?

You mean magical users or mythical creatures?

Both. From Foot Mystics to ancient deities and everything in between.

Maybe some, but I doubt it'll be that prevalent. This series has obviously shown it's focus is on mutagen, and kraang and that side, where as 2k3 focused mainly on the space and mystical side, with almost no plot on the mutagen

I think they will do some mystical stuff based on the fact that we have Sir Malachi, a wizard bird who turns Raph's head into a turkey. I honestly can't wait for that and to see how it all plays out.

. I'm not sure how much we'll be seeing aside from sparrow wizard but sounds cool. I think there's a place for that kind of thing in TMNT 2012.

Actually, they show it this preview at about :18 (It's quick shots so it's hard to spot on first glance), where Mutagen Man has his hand out with mutagen dripping from it and holding Raph down by the throat.

I hope there isn't a lot. It took me a long time to even get into the extreme sci-fi aspect of the show (I grew up with first couple films which has a much more 'grounded' type of feel), and I've yet to care for any of the magical elements the franchise has to offer. IDW comes close, since the Secret History of the Foot Clan was intriguing, and I'll swallow that, but overall, for me, the less magic the better.

Me neither!! I love sci-fi but Magical Spells... Who can't like this??

I doubt. Since this is strongly a remake of the 1987 show, which was almost only B scienefiction movie plots from the 1950's and 60's combined with some grounded elements.

I think it was mentioned at SDCC about Sir Malachi and Rob and Sean were joking around and arguing whether it was Raph who gets turned into a turkey or Don. It was a while back though.
