With the Shredder joining forces with the Kraang, does this mean that Karai is on their side as well? How do you feel about this considering the fact that she was trying to get rid of them, in the first place?

I doubt she's happy about it, but I'm sure she'll abide by what her "father" wants.

She probably hates it as she did attack them in Enemy of my Enemy. So I wouldn't consider Karai on the same side as the Kraang and Foot. It's possible that she might turn away from them after learning the truth about herself.

I don't think she likes the Kraang at all and is just going along with what Shredder wants. It'll be interesting to see what happens later on down the road.

Things won't work out later on in my opinion, Karai will likely betray them but won't go so well for her when they find out. Am I looking into this too muchXD

My younger brother asked me why Splinter couldn't tell Karai the truth but I told him that Karai wouldn't believe him. He disagrees and thought it was a missed opportunity to tell a great story. What do you guys say to that?

I guess it's too much for Splinter to take it all in. He was just discovering that his dead daughter was alive after all.

Agreed. Can you imagine how much that would screw with a guy's head, finding out your presumed dead daughter is more or less a brainwashed ninja assasin who wants you and your sons dead. Splinter will try to make personal sense of it first before he figures out a way to properly tell the turtles and how to address the issue. I feel like Karai will find out and lose her ****. She'll go solo and make it her personal vendetta to off Splinter, the turtles and Shredder.

Yeah I doubt she likes this very much at all. I'd never really thought of her feelings concerning the alliance. It'll be interesting to see how she handles it during Shredder's sojourn.

She won't believe him. Maybe if he came back with the family portrait it would make him more believable, though.

That boat sailed in Enemy of my Enemy. After such betrayal Karai is far less inclined to believe *anything* turtles or Splinter will tell her.

I agree with this as well. Such an emotional blow was too much for him to deal with at the moment.

Or if he happens to have the other half to the picture she was looking at in "Follow the Leader"...

Well, things have definitely changed since the fall out between her and Leo. At this point, I'm sure the Kraang have managed to win her over with their new toys for her to play around with and order around. She agreed with Leo at first, nothing good would happen if the Kraang got their way. But the moment the turtles betrayed her, her bond with Shredder tightened even more, and now all she wants is to see Hamato Yoshi's family wiped out. The fate of the world is no longer her concern.
As for the, "Should Splinter have told her" thing, it wasn't the time. Splinter was still in shock, and she's still full of rage, meeting her mother's "murder" face to face. She wouldn't have listened to anything he had to say. Even the mention of her birth name enraged her. She wasn't ready to learn the truth, and with Shredder right beside her fueling her anger, Splinter would never have gotten through to her.
