Ordeal? Come again?
There was no drama.. haha. :)
When I heard there was gonna be a TV crew I said "I bet the people on the drome forums would get a kick out of me wearing a TMNT shirt" and then I was like "Especially that POWDER fella, he would like it a lot".
So I put it on. Bam. :) TMNT.
Was a good night. :)

This should have been posted in your other thread. No, it's not worthy of a separate thread. Yaaaaaay, more self promotion.

How is it self promotion?
This video is it's own video, filmed 7 months after the other one I mentioned. Why you gotta be this way? Maybe you need a slice of pizza.

Posting a link to a video of yourself is pretty much the definition of self promotion. Creating an unnecessary new thread about it reeks of self promotion spam.

I posted a link to share cool news. None of you know me, if I didn't post it, it would never be posted here. Who cares who posted it?
New thread? The other thread is totally separate from this one. They are somewhat related actually, but this is an all new video... of me on the news... in a TMNT shirt... which I thought you guys would like (which is why I wore it)... so in my opinion... that warranted a new thread creation.
Way to look past all the positive there is here and find a way to create some negativity. Real classy.
If you like the video... great. If you don't, no need to be nasty about it.

I think you're used to being able to sweet talk everyone you meet into loving you and it drives you mad that no one here is falling for any of your cries for attention.
We all have TMNT t-shirts. That you have one is not impressive. We would be more impressed if you came here and interacted in actual fandom conversation, but you are obviously not here to do that.

This. All you really do is promote yourself, brag about your opportunities/endeavors, & come off as conceited in the process.
& while it's thoughtful of you to choose an outfit just for me, I don't swing that way.

I definitely agree with Rose and Powder here. This is just too much and very conceited of you to create a thread just for wearing a TMNT shirt. The other one about the homeless people was fine, but this one is just pointless. And I agree that you should participate more in discussions instead of just promoting yourself.

Why does this need a thread by itself again?

Why does this need a thread by itself again?
Because it's not the same video that was posted before and is entirely different.
The first video I posted was when I gave out 60+ pizzas to the homeless 7 months ago.
This video is news coverage of me last night, giving out 100 bags of clothes, food and water to the homeless after only asking for the donations 6 hours previously.
They mentioned the other video since it inspired this one, but they are two totally separate deals.
Obliviously, I should not have made a new thread. To me, it made perfect sense. Shame that the focus here seems to be on threads and forum organization rather than the fact that some good was done last night.
Oh well.

This forum is full of complainers and I thought Facebook was bad lol

Good for you, I guess.
Would have been easier to have one thread for all of your charity work, less clutter.

Without taking sides here, what's with all the wrist slapping around here?
People, honestly, who cares? It's a Ninja Turtle forum. And while we all share that passion a little more than most do, its still a ninja turtle forum. No one is obligated to partake in other topics if they don't want to. And if someone is here to share Ninja Turtles news, regardless of if its something nobody else may be interested in, and regardless of if its the only thing the person posts about, who cares?
Guys, just... breath, will ya?
(Bakushan, what I said might have sounded like a backhanded remark to you; it wasn't. You're not the first to have the same treatment for showing up just to say "look at what I'm up to relating to TMNT")

Goddammit guys, what's the matter with you? Self promotion? For HIMSELF? What's he promoting? The guy is sharing something with us. Something that is totally different from any other thread on the forum. Stop complaining and just watch the damn video!
As for the video, that was cool, Bakushan, thanks for sharing!

Jeez, chill out you two... This was a wonderful thing, both this act and the pizza handout to the homeless.. :)
Is it so terrible if he wants to share it? Maybe it will inspire other fans to do the same...

I'm not saying his act of kindness is the problem. That's cool. But the thread title kind of made me go, "What? You're putting up a thread just for wearing a TMNT shirt?" It just seemed kind of odd when I read the title of it.

That's understandable. I had the same reaction, as well :P
