View Full Version : Anyone else think Jason Bigg's and James Arnold Taylor Leo voices sound alike?

I was rewatching the 4th TMNT movie yesterday, and what struck me the most is how similar Leonardo's voice is to the Nick incarnation. Jason Bigg's voice sounds nearly identical to James Arnold Taylor Leonardo, only slightly younger sounding.

Its what makes me like to link the 4th movie to the Nick cartoon now aside from the Karai discrepency, because both Leo and Mike have similarities to their Nick incarnations. Even 4th movie April looks like an adult version of Nick's April too for that matter.

Nick Leo and Imagi Leo absolutely do not have similar personalities.

They sound almost the same to me. Also these turtles were 18, so it would be what Nick Leo would seem like after he ages 3 years.

They're not exactly the same of course, but its very similar. Reminds me of sound-a-like voice actors when a characters voice is replaced on a children's show where the substitute VA has to fill in with a similar sounding voice so kids won't notice.

Yeah, okay I can see what you're saying. Kind of like the horrible replacements they had from time to time for Raph and Donnie in the OT.

Personally, I think his voice sounds a lot closer to James Arnold Taylor's interpretation of Leo from the 07 movie.
