Pretty cool. Since the DVDs are going out of print at least people can buy them digitally.
It'd be interesting to see what the quality of the episodes is but they're a bit on the expensive side.

Too bad this isn't included in the free trial for Amazon Prime which I signed up for yesterday, and since I have a complete set, isn't necessary for me. What irks me is the uneven pricing structure. Why does Season 3 cost just a buck more than Season 1, which despite its filler has many more episodes worth watching, and is cheaper than Seasons 4-7 which all have fewer episodes? Why is Planet of the Turtleoids part of Season 6 when it actually first aired before any other Season 5 episode (not including the Hokum Hare episodes)?
I honestly think streaming isn't worth it unless if the DVDs are hard to find/expensive or never had a home video release. Though I'd still recommend Season 3 for the value provided.

It's just great to see the OT available to people in many ways other than the DVDs.
It's a show everyone should watch, so the more ways its available the better.

I might double dip eventually. My DVDs are all very well taken care of but I've been thinking about buying shows online so I won't have to worry about returning a defective dvd ever again. I've not been disappointed with my amazon purchases of TMNT 2012. Now if only they'd sell the 2k3 series some day.
I have a question, is Instant Video a streaming service or are you actually buying them and owning them? Do they have DRM?
I'm still wondering about the quality, I bet they look better than the seasons that got 10 episodes per disc. I wonder how they compare to the Euoropean release which apparently was higher quality.
Yeah, it's a shame there isn't a streaming Service with all the OT available, Netflix has all 800+ episodes of Power Rangers not to mention The Next Mutation, it'd be nice to have the OT streaming. 2k3 probably won't happen since there isn't much Nick on Netflix.

Only the videos marked "Prime" are free for subscribers. Everything else you still have to buy or rent.

A few years ago, Nick had a considerable amount of stuff on Netflix, like Rocko's Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy, Rugrats, All Grown Up, Spongebob, and AHHH! Real Monsters. Those are just shows that I recognized, but I'm sure there were some contemporary shows on there, as well. I put them on my queue so that I might one day relive fond memories, but since my Netflix queue is smorgasbord of broken promises and endless procrastination, by the time I finally got around to it, they were gone.

My Netflix queue is the same. I have 30+ items in it. But when I go to watch something, I always look for something else which isn't even in my queue.

Very cool that it's available, but a bit pricey.
