Not sure if this is old news, but I did some digging on WhoIs.com, and found that the domain for the official movie site has been registered. The site is not yet live, but I expect that it will be very soon.
So, keep a close eye on TMNT-MOVIE.com in the coming weeks.

I wonder if they will attach the trailer to the LEGO movie that comes out Feb 7th? :) Guy can dream right. Can't wait to see never-nude pothead floppylipped mikey on the big screen.

The Lego Movie is cutting it close, but I'd say Robocop is a huge possibilty.

When you look at the info, this comes up:
Admin Organization: Paramount Pictures
Admin Street: 5555 Melrose Ave, MOB 1209
Admin City: Hollywood
Admin State/Province: CA
Admin Postal Code: 90038
It's the same in the registration info. It means that Paramount has this site bought for already. Which, as others have already said, means we should see something soon.
I'm going to be crossing my fingers for Feb. 8th, but only because that's my birthday. :-p

You think they would of had something ready for the super bowel since it has a lot of viewers.

I was JUST talking about this to my husband last night! It is possible to have an entire site ready for launch and simply upload it and shoot it off within a half-hour window....so there's a total possibility of it. Hubster had mention the cost, but like I told him, if they had the right backers advertising wise, it's a possibility that they might have a Super Bowl ad.
Anyone know if Pepsi's going to be featured in the movie? There was a CEO or some such on the telly the other day saying that this year's Super Bowl was going to be "owned by Pepsi."
I hate televised sports with a passion, but I might keep my eyes open today.

Hopefully we see a Superbowl ad. Or even a 20 second teaser. I'll take anything.

There is no Super Bowl ad. Paramount only bought a spot for Transformers 4.
TigerClaw

there won't be a superbowl spot for the new TMNT if that's what your thinking, Paramount paid a lot of money just to feature the spot for Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Awwww! I wish they had one for tmnt!

It's such a missed opportunity. There aren't any big movies coming out until April that they'd be able to attach the trailer to.

as of this moment tmnt-movie.com is not live which leads me to believe its either not the site for the movie, or that we won't get a Super Bowl commercial today. i know everyone has already said we won't get one today because there's no slot allocated for it (Super Bowl sunday) but i have some inside info that leads me to believe that we will. fingers crossed.

Super Bowl commercials are the topic as of right now. And this one is confirmed and online right now. I think it's called "best buds".

Can't wait for the Pizza Hut tie in for this 2014 movie. Should be epic. Something I felt Dominos missed out on with the 1990 movie, and the subsequent sequels clearly didn't take advantage of ... they could've used the money to boost their movie budget, and got a vision more broad in scope after the more personal origin story in the original. Could've segued from the more Mirage stuff to the OT over the top, cartoon nature if they did that.Dominos missing out?? They're in the movie permanently whereas commercials can easily be missed and forgotten. Who here still even remember the pizza hut ads? I don't, nor do I remember ever seeing it. Dominos? Sure, cause even the new fans can check the past movies. Ain't nobody got the time to search damn commercials on youtube, not sure they even exist.
Any pizza company that gets to feature IN THE FILM will have booked their ticket to ultimate remembrance for eternity, as long it is watched by people.

Ah well, that's not what I'm here for. Looking forward for tmnt news.

Other fans/audience don't play the games nor watch the tour. So not pretty much all of us.

"Other fans" meaning who exactly? I'm pretty sure a huuuuuge chunk of this forum & fandom of a certain age did both of those things.

Didn't everyone who was around for Turtlemania back then have the Pizza Hutt clip on badge thingies and the little vehichles from Mobil service stations?
Seemed that way to me...

I did say the fandom, not just the forum. There are tons of die-hard fans on par with us passion-wise who don't use message boards. Like Walkabout said, most people who were around for Turtlemania took part in those things. More than less, I would imagine.
I agree. Robot riding a t-rex? bwahaha
A ten year old boy's wet dream. Looks phenomenal. The Transformers films are basically just visual treats, the best examples of junk food cinema.

But then they try to put in all that "acting" and "story" and "character" "development" and it just ruins the whole thing.

You're comparing the secretion of sperm and semen through a 10 year old male child while he's sleeping to the dislike for a kids television program.

Twice in the past 24 hours there's been an XML sheet started on tmnt-movie.com and then taken down. Grah. It's driving me crazier than I already am.

Ah I remember those days.
The Dark Knight viral marketing was great times.
Sitting there at night watch a flickering candle inside a jack o lantern loop over and over again, and then, the next day, the candle itself will have melted a little.
Good times. Good times.
