With the Kraang Conspiracy just 24 hours away, a lot of us on here have a feeling something big is going to go down in tomorrow's episode in terms of the story, which begs this question?

With everything that has happened so far, what would the biggest swerve of this show be.

Now for those that don't know, "Swerve" is most known by wrestling fans, as making a story arc fans think/know something is going to happen and then said show pulling a complete 180 on you and doing something completely different you never see coming.

So that said, what could/would/will the biggest swerve of this series?

Me personally, if we found out that The Kraang's plot to terraform Earth was all a cover up and The Kraang are in secret working for the government under the lead of...Agent Bishop. And Bishop & The Kraang are trying to eliminate April to protect the Earth from the "real alien invasion" (If in turn April is revealed to truly not be human.)

Which if you think about it, this Kurtzman (Or what's his name) is a detective, a detective is a remote branch of the police, who work for the government too. This Kraang Origin story that he's suppose to tell could all be made up too.

There's my take, what's everyone elses?

If there were a swerve within the show, I would like it to be about Casey. What if his old friend Nick were related to someone in the Foot, and he doesn't know about it... until he meets Casey again and discovers he has turtle friends! When Nick follows Casey and the turtles, he discovers a big secret: his father is working for the Foot!

That would be a good twist.

That Kraang had a hand in mankind's evolution. AKA. Humans were originally apes that were spliced with Utrom dna.

The Kraang are a rogue sect of Utroms, essentially a cult, that has been exiled from their home planet/dimension and are trying to conquer Earth for that reason. It would also explain why they all call themselves simply "Kraang" and don't seem to have individual identities - they're so completely devoted to their cause that their own identities aren't considered important.

I love the Kraang, but I'd also like to see proper, classic Utroms show up at some point, and this would let us have both.

I like that idea, Bry. Here's hoping it happens. I've a feeling we'll be learning a tun about the Kraang species over time. Guess we'll just have to wait and see, but utroms showing up would be terrific.

Hmm. There could be so many story swerves we don't know about, or expect. Like Karai we know she's Miwa, so...Perhaps the real Karai is her (assumed) Aunt in this series and she's even meaner than Shredder, and she has a daughter named Pimiko?

Perhaps The Kraang are mutation of Mitochondria from a giant Gamera like turtle that was the inspiration for all the "world Turtle" Mythology.
(had to sneak a world turtle and Gamera ref. in somehow. :) )

Seriously though, I wouldn't want to try and guess what Ciro and company have cooking up. Those guys are pretty talented and have accomplished a lot of good stuff with their version of TMNT.

The Kraang are a rogue sect of Utroms

Just what I thought of

I really hope we get an some actually answer and not some freaking clues. What is with April O'neil? Seriously, give a well thought explanation that will save her from the fate of Mary Suedom and I might overlook the fact that this ability has zero weaknesses and downsides.

Well, I know that the turtles are exposed and have to flee the city - we've already seen the Foot infiltrate their HQ, so it could happen sooner rather than later (I'd assumed that'd be the season finale)...

Not the biggest swerve, but Kurtzman being something else then the investigative reporter he says he is. Maybe Bishop, as others have suggested, or a kraang spy/clone.

Well, we sort of got a swerve in this latest ep with April's origin and who she really is. She definitely isn't a Neutrino as I thought she was, but it does beg the question about her mom and whether she's really alive or not.

The Kraang are defeated for good and never return. I'm getting a bit bored of the Kraang and I think their storyline needs to end at the end of Season 2.

Usagi Yojimbo showing up. Or any indy comic character for that matter.

Who knows, she is a half human/half alien mutation thus far. And Kurtzman has stated that the Kraang have been abducting and experimenting on humans for centuries. So maybe April is the first Neutrino really discovered or successfully created by the Kraang.

As for Kurtzman. There are some people who think he could be another Kraang which could be true. Maybe he is a Kraang, but much like in the 2K3 version where the Utroms are benevolent and Ch'rell is evil.

Maybe Kurtzman is the odd duck...er squid in a group of evil brain squids.

For example he said he had started out on this by doing an investigation on the missing scientists the previous year. I know investigative Journalists are if anything thorough, but he still looked as though he had a life times worth of investigative stuff on the Kraang.

It wouldn't have made sense for him to reveal himself to be a Kraang in his debut, because the Turtles would have been less likely to him if they were to learn that. And also for us as viewers it would have taken away form the bombshell that is the "April is a mutant" revelation/confirmation.

That Splinter was in fact the bad guy all along, and Karai IS Shredder's daughter.

My theory would have been right all along than :o

.....Jk...

I think Leo playing evil to get Karai on the good guy's team without us knowing would be a good one. Like say, he replaces Karai as Shredder's top guy and does his biddings ( Hunting down his brothers for example ) I'd actually like to see that happen :D

Read the IDW comics then. That exact thing literally just happened. Well, he didn't do it to win over Karai, but everything else applies.

Maybe the Shredder or Karai abducts the Turtles. Uses those Kraang brainwashing devices into making the Turtles serve the Foot.

From what I've gathered when Kirby was brainwashed is he was aware of what he was doing...but couldn't prevent himself from doing it. So having the Turtles being forced to attack their sensei, April, and Casey. But being unable to to anything about it.

While Splinter, April, and Casey consciously know they don't want to hurt the Turtle's but are forced to in order to fix the issue.

VA, that's true that April could still be part Neutrino, but I think she's just part Kraang, and that's fine with me. I knew it was something like that.
