It may have been posted before but as i have stated in another post. It is nice to have a few threads with these pics for all to see. Or make one thread, sticky it, and have a moderator put up all known factual pics and what not to it so all can post pics to it and be confirmed instead of these lost posts that no one or only half the forums see or know about. these pics I hadn't seen. You're on a message board talking about Ninja Turtles, pure kids stuff. But buying action figures is where you draw the line at "grown man" status? That's kind of odd. Now if you were playing with them then you'd definitely have a point. I see plenty of grown men buying action figures. All depends on how secure you are with yourself.
The turtles have never exactly been "pure kids stuff". Just so happens that the most mainstream version of it was marketed that way in the late 80s/early 90s and now for better or worse they can never escape that image. I agree that there's nothing wrong with a grown man collecting action figures though. Having said that still not a fan of these figures.

Neither had I. My guess is there's a lot of CGI involved with the van. And apparently the pop-out feature present on the toy is in the film. A rep confirmed it’s from the movie.
TBH, I think there's a lot of CGI involved in the film in general. We never really got a good amount of set pictures, for example. If you break down the ones that we did get, it probably made up a couple of scenes. I think there was a lot of studio shooting for this film.

Eh, looks like the movie sets actually are a pass for me, not overly impressed with any of the three. although if I ever find the truck set in the bargain bin, I'd might pick it up unless something else fancied me. The truck is nicely build, the turtle minis thought. Chuck'em away, I got turtle minifigs covered from the Nick show.

The ears looks as pointy as the Nick Splinter, personally I think the snout looks rounder, but that's probably due to the paint job and the grainy picture.
Even the turtle heads looks like the same head mold, I guess Donnie's head is different with holes fitted for keeping his goggles on. There seems to be a new shell mold thought, since it looks like the shell is sitting higher then the Nick turtles.

There seems to be a new shell mold thought, since it looks like the shell is sitting higher then the Nick turtles.I remember hearing lego fans say the head are newer molds. I think the older mold would not fit on the figure with the higher shell.
These look so awesome. Thanks for sharing. :D :tcool:I know right im going to love combining the shows lair with the Movie lair going to be awesome.
"Turtle Lair Invasion" - sounds exciting, can't wait!
I know right ^_^

I still have my original 4 and the Secret of the Ooze figures, and 4 others sealed (forget when and they're boxed up), but I quit buying figures. I'd kind of like the to get the Nick figures, but not really that motivated.
Kind of lost interest in buying the toys associated with the different releases after I completed these four purchases:

I love them soooo muuuuuch :D
(Photo is just from the web, not MY set, but still the same set I have) ;)
Can't say the thought of the movie-version maquettes didn't cross my mind when I saw the photos of them, though. Assuming they were released. But the cost of those bad boys is pretty hefty.

Oh yeah they do, but the four turtles were worth it.
I'm not as sure the Fellowship was worth it as I'm still waiting on the likely never-to-be-released Merry & Pippin statue, but that's a discussion for another board. ;)

lol Yeah that kind of sucks idk if i would star buying something that wasn't fully released but then again if they sold out then your S.O.L. which sucks
Like i ended up getting the B&W necca comic turtles and i love them but idk. that was released all together.

Eh, I haven't gotten a TMNT toy for some time, but my collection mostly consists of Raph and Mikey (back then, those were my two favorites)
I even got a big stuffed Raphael dressed up in a Santa Clause outfit. Too cute!

Yeah, same here, they almost have the Mirage comic book look to them. The detail is fantastic!
