Seeing as how it's a new week, I thought I'd get the ball rolling with this episode.

I loved every minute of this ep! From the moment Krang started rambling on about his body to when Leo sliced the Stone Warrior Weather Maker, it was all good!

Yeah, this was always one of my favorites. My mom is a librarian and they had a few TMNT videos(about 20 maybe???) and they had this one so I was always watching it.

Great ep. I especially liked the Turtle van vs. the Technorover fight. It was one of my favorite TMNT fights and it still is today.

The weathermaker was cool. Would be fun to set up one of those and watch a city go nuts.

Great episode, of course the whole mini-series consisted of the best episodes in the series. By the was now that were mentioning these episodes, I was wondering this is true or not. I remember that the first and I think only time I ever saw the mini-series altogether was when I got my mother to go rent it for me. It was at Video One which was around the time before Blockbuster became big. Anyway the reason I did this was because I could never saw them show the other 3 episodes( A Thing About Rats, Hot Rodding Teenagers From Dimension X, Shredder and Splintered ).

I know they showed them when they premiered and I missed it at that time and started watching it a little after that. But everytime I saw them show Turtle Tracks and Enter the Shredder they skipped the others. The only time I saw them show the other three was when they showed reruns on on a different network way later on. So can anyone back me up on this or was I just losing my mind.

I LOVE THIS EPISODE!

It was in fact the first TMNT episode I ever owned (and I still do own it). I've watched it too many times to count.

It had so many great lines!

Raphael: Eat hot lead turkey's!!! (shooting out of the turtle van)

Raphael: Great job Leonardo, most people only complain about the weather. You actually did something about it. (after Leo slicer the weather machine)

Donatello: Hey watch it! You're ruining my finish. (as he's being scraped up against a wall)

Nutrino: Bug off squares!

Nutrino: We thought this was the planet of the squares man...

Trag: How do you engage the hyperdrive on this thing? (while in a regualr truck)

(not perfectly accurate)
Leonardo: We must constrian the pilot and force him to land.
Mike: Yeah, but with what?
Leo: With my elbow pad!
(Leo grabs the nutrino and Mike tries to control the car)
Mike: We're crashing!
Leo: *sarcastically* Pull the stick up Michaelangelo

(not completely accurate)
Mike: Uh oh, the boys in blue
Raph: Mwa, somebody
April: Shouldn't they be on our side?
Mike: Nah, people don't know a thing when it comes to turtles...
April: Ahem...
Mike: Present company excempted (or was it accepted)

Krang: They're a threat to everything we stand for, and what's worse... they encourage people to have FUN!

Raph: You got any weapons on those hot rods?
Nutrino: Of course, they're required by law
(that one just cracks me up for some reason)

Trag: (while setting the weather machine) Hmm... clowdy, mild showers, ah here we go TOTAL CHAOS!

Just to name a few...

Here are some of my favorite quotes:

(The Turtles are pushing the soon-to-be Turtle van up the stairs.)
Mike: (grunting) "Couldn't we maybe've taken the elevator?"
Don: (grunting)"It wouldn't fit in the elevator!"
Raph: (grunting) "Shut up and push!"

(Donatello is creating the Turtle Van.)
Don: "I sure hope all this is worth it."
Leo: "It will be, when we hunt the Shredder down."
Don: "But why do we have to do it? It's the humans' problem!"
April: "He has it in for you guys, too, or have you forgotten?"
Don: "But us...TURTLES... outcasts of society! Why do we have to stand alone against the forces of evil?"
Mike: "Face it, man, it's the only job we're qualified for.
Don: "Oh yeah, you're right. Well, back to work!"

What was the episode titled a different way or do you prefer Shredder & Splintered.

I may be wrong but I believe the title of the episode is Shredder GETS Splintered

Reznorite420

You're both wrong.

The name of the episode is "The Shredder Is Splintered". Don't correct me by saying, "But it says Shredder & Splintered on the official site!", because even the official site has its errors.

Besides, "Shredder and Splintered" sounds like bad English, because it is.

Just to set the record straight, the episode itself did infact say "Shredder & Splintered" in the title, while the coloring book had it written as "Shredder Gets Splintered" and the home video calls it "Shredder Is Splintered".

DANG I've been PWNED. I guess I'll have to watch it some more! Tell me did you do that from memory or did you watch the video just so you could correct me.

I was pretty sure that they said "bug off squares" somewhere.

I loved Don's speech as well. Brilliant delivery. The elevator bit was also grand. This has got to be one of my favorite episodes of all time.

Aww, makes sence now. And yes this episode had some of the best qoutes in the series, just like the whole mini-series. After talking about this does anyone else feel like killing the Network guys who feel they should not only show the series edited, but the not show it at all for a long time and won't let anyone else show it. Cartoon network should own all the good old cartoons we all grew up to. I mean they show G.I. Joe, why not all the other classics.

Yeah, I hear ya.

It would fit perfectly on Cartoon Network.

Jeph's entirely correct on the varying titles (in fact, I still own the coloring book :D ), and in fact it completely explains my reluctance to ever refer to said episode by name, simply because I have NO IDEA what the "official" name for it is. "Shredder Gets Splintered" makes the most sense from a grammatical standpoint, but the original epidode does indeed say "Shredder & Splintered" on the title card. I remember at the tender age of 7 wondering aloud "What the F*CK?" when I saw that title, because it didn't make any sense then either.

Apparently they realized this as well and fixed it for mass-market video release. Didn't do much to quell the confusion, though, obviously.

Maybe it's really called "Shredded and Splintered."

That would work as well.

As far as I recall, the first time I saw the episode on TV, the title said "THE Shredder IS Splintered"...mind you, I have not tried any drugs in my life other than tobacco and alcohol, plus my memory is more long term than most people I know. Until I see for myself once again on the actual episode itself (when and if that happens, either on TV or DVD), there's no use trying to convince me otherwise.

In prime time would be beautiful! And then the new show on the Saturday night block then Toonami when there are more episodes.
