I just measured, and Raphael is over two and a half "hummer tires" tall in that pic. I looked it up, and Hummer H2 tires are 34.5 inches in diameter, which means that he is probably over 86.25 inches (7.2 feet) tall in that pic. His knees are bent away from the camera, so it's hard to get more exact measurements, but he does seem to be extremely large. It's very possible that the animators just got the scaling wrong, though.

Not sure what you where trying to write there, but everyone can see that the legs are bennt, no one in their right mind sees the image and thinks Raph's legs are straight. The proportions are still wonky, his arms are way too small compared to his large legs, the torso is not looking good at all in the anatomy department.

He looks like a cartoon character designed by someone who don't know basic anatomy and proportions. Both 12 inch and action feature Raph got the same issues, the other turtles proportions are not that jarring, it's all Raph.

I think they were just dead set on this movie being called Ninja Turtles that even when they were practically indebted to use the full title they were still very determined on it being known as Ninja Turtles hence we get reasonably okay logo with the extra words added in a way that you can almost hear them say "let's hope they don't notice".

It's a minor thing and certainly not worth risking the wrath of the Paramount plants.

Not sure what you where trying to write there, but everyone can see that the legs are bennt, no one in their right mind sees the image and thinks Raph's legs are straight. The proportions are still wonky, his arms are way too small compared to his large legs, the torso is not looking good at all in the anatomy department.

He looks like a cartoon character designed by someone who don't know basic anatomy and proportions. Both 12 inch and action feature Raph got the same issues, the other turtles proportions are not that jarring, it's all Raph.

Its a CGI freeze Frame, And seeing as the chances are that the whole shot would pretty much be CGI if you freeze frame a CGI scene it looks off always has always will Unless they animate more frames per second so it looks more fluid.

Yeah but it was a bigger version of him and had Leo in the background. Honestly, Leo looks OK up close. He looks more like the maquette. Mike looks gross. Leo does seem short though but i guess it's because don and raph are friggin tall.

Ive been called stupid idiot moron, ive hear people tell a kid that he seems so stupid he souldn't be able to breath, ive heard countless insults, Countless.

I wouldn't sweat it man, I'm willingly to bet a good chuck of these jokers will go see it either at midnight or wait til Friday to see it. The one thing I notice about these guys is seem they're trying way too hard to move people to their opinion, if they're secure with their opinion then an opposing one shouldn't threaten theirs. My opinion has always been this let me see these turtles in action before I judge the movie either way. Sidenote a certain blogger claimed reviews of the turtles been negative I read the reviews two people both people from sites I never heard of didn't like it, while the third thought their bodies were ok but wasn't feeling their heads nothing really negative and the dude from IGN said they kinda look like fan art. At best the reaction to the turtles were mixed but when you got an agenda to push what's a few word twisting.

so...this made my freaking day - not that anyone cares, but I'm at the office, running on 1-2 hours sleep max because of a system upgrade...and this totally made my morning, and woke me up.

i have to agree...something strange about their heads, that I can't quite get used to, but hopefully, time will change that (i didnt like the Nick designs at first, and they have grown on me since)

but Leo, dropping on that water tower (?), swords out looked amazing.

and Raph slamming into the hummer, and crushing it completely seems totally plausible given his size, and the speed at which he was traveling.
