Did anyone actually see this live? I never did, I don't think the TMNTs made it over to the UK...

What about the video? I read a hysterical review of The Making of Coming out of their Shells on X-Entertainment and have to know, was it *really* as bad as they say?

I'd love to read your reviews on it if you've seen it. I'm thinking of buying the tape from eBay just for laughs.

I have the tape lol, I watch it every now and then but I just watch it for the songs pretty much, their pretty catchy

I saw the show live when I was 7 I think. Fun for kids, or at least I had fun from what I remember.

I also own the "Making Of" tape, and it's unabashadly terrible.

I saw it live, I also have 2 tapes of it, the first I got from a second hand shop and some how ended taping over it for Gundam wing :evil: But I got a Sealed copy copy off Ebay for about 3 bucks so no worries

ya I saw the live crappy show.......it was no were close to how it was on the tape, shreeder, splinter, and april never appeared! but they played splinters song and the turtles danced to it............but they really couldnt dance.
all that I got out of it was they ****** pieces of numchucks!
the show sucked............but I watch the tape to drown that memory away :D

Yeah I agree,I thought it was enjoyable.I didn't see it live,since I was too young.But I do got the tape,I watch it now and then if I'm bored.


The show was okay,I liked the dance moves :goofygri: but anyway,I liked Mikey and Raph's voice,totally fit.



But like I always say *hears groans*,it was the turtles,I was satisfied :)

I saw it live way back when also. I dont remember it much, but it was still fun for my age. I got a free soundtrack cassette from Pizza Hut after the show, so that was cool. I still listen to it now and again, catchy songs despite their horridly campy 80s* lyrics.

* (1990 and 91 were still the 80s ;))

I never saw the live show, and I've not yet seen the video. My favorite video rental place has it now, but I'm kind of afraid to watch it. It looks really crappy.

Never saw it live, myself. But I had it on tape, then I accidentally taped over it. :(

I miss it, though. I liked it. Now I've got to find another tape somewhere...

It's bad, but on the level of sheer crapiness, it doesn't even begin to compare the Star Wars Christmas Special. And that had Harrison Ford in it.

Honestly its not bad if you don't take it to seriously. Its just a fun fun ride into the depths of insanity and an out of control train ride in the 'make money' roller coster.

Not all teh songs were great, but 2 or 3 are terrably addictive.

You gotta fight to be be you gotta fight for what is right...... cause we need you help to ninja....
