I am not sure when trailer 3 is released but my cousin works at the cinema and showed me it in advance. It is very good, far better than the other ones. I will summarize as best I can

- starts with Leo jumping from tower
- Mikey doing no no no 'just a mask'
- April says 'who are you'
- then it sounds like Splinter saying all the names in voiceover as it shows close up of all turtles
- there is a lot of new action scenes with the turtles and the Shredder footage from tv spot
- another scene from the snow mountain slide
- Vern talking to April says "So what, they're aliens?" "No that's stupid. They're Ninjas."
- then close up on mikey saying "Duuude"

Still do not hear Leo voice. I thought at first the voiceover names was him but doesnt sound like Knoxville. The turtles all look really great especially Mikey.It's weird he looks so awful bad in the just a mask scene but great in other ones.

The Shredder is from the HD picture of him and Splinter. You see him unsheath the "claws". The snow scene has Donnie sliding and, this sounds dumb but it looked cool, he flips a car speeding down with his staff. I dont lnow if Im saying that right. There is lots of footage we have seen. it might depend on the theater chain. theres a chain called santikos here in south tx where i watched how to train your dragon 2 last night and it wasn't on there. just a bunch of kiddie and animated movie trailers. (a dolphins tale 2, earth to echo, penguins of madagascar, planes fire and rescue...)

To all the people who thought there would be no Ninjutsu in this movie....well, there you go! Now go find something else to nitpick about. :P

I didn't see any Ninjutsu (Shinobi-no-Jutsu), there's some sword swinging, tag teaming, car flipping, but no Ninjutsu as far as I know.

And was anyone really concerned if there was going to be any authentic ninja techniques in this movie? I'm pretty sure throughout the entire franchise, things that could be somewhat Shinobi-no-Jutsu could be counted on 1 hand, maybe 2 hands. If anything, it would have been a nice surprise/bonus if they did some authentic research, but like the rat of the TMNT franchise, it's fictional ninjas, and ninjas on TV is a lot "cooler" then actual Shinobi.

Ninjutsu, Shinobi-no-Jutsu is an actual thing, but just "Ninjas flipping out!!11!". It is however nice to see Leo using his swords.

Well, you wouldn't need super powers to do that... Just a really friggin' strong staff and good timing. The car/van easily propels it self upwards and forwards as it hits the staff with the speed it's going at. What Don did was place it at the right spot at the center of it's underside and at the right angle. How ever... anyone who's watched Mythbusters will know that the probability of the staff just impaling the car would be much greater then the chance of it actually flipping in to the air.

Well, you wouldn't need super powers to do that... Just a really friggin' strong staff and good timing. The car/van easily propels it self upwards and forwards as it hits the staff with the speed it's going at. What Don did was place it at the right spot at the center of it's underside and at the right angle. How ever... anyone who's watched Mythbusters will know that the probability of the staff just impaling the car would be much greater then the chance of it actually flipping in to the air.

Yeah I totally think that staff is retractable and power up some how, and you can see him placing it on the front of the truck for it to do the most damage. AH so sick, and I agree about the aliens line being a jab the the negative early/ wrong hype for this movie. Also did anyone read the 30th Anniversary comic? there was totally a reference to them begin aliens in the archie one. totally seemed like a humorous way to connect to the people talking about this movie. :tgrin:

I think I'd feel ALOT more optimistic if the last tv spot and teaser trailer we've seen weren't through low quality leaks, but actual official releases. Like you the original Steve Barron film holds a special place in my fandom, but the thing is this, though parts of that movie still hold up amazingly to this day, for me, the action doesn't. I'm a die-hard fan of all things martial arts, and while parts of it are decent, the second and third actually do much better with the choreography. As a kid, the Turtles brought martial arts to the forefront and was the reason I began studying, so my hope is the new film explodes in a major way, with modern martial arts (tricking, etc) that just blows me out of the water. I'm hoping the new footage makes its way online next week, but I'd be lying if I wasn't hoping for the next minute :lol:

Easily the strongest trailer yet; the character intros by Splinter, followed by some new action...and I think heard a Leo voiceover, "let's rock and roll boys" while spinning into a group of foot. Good times, seeing this made my morning.

The April joke about them being ninjas, followed by Mikey's Bruce Lee impression...all felt very classic back in the day humor type Turtles...I'm really looking forward to a blend of old school comedy, and new school action.

Definitely an improvement; I don't think I could have taken one more spot with Fox or Arnett as the main focus!

Look, maybe despite the people associated with the film saying that these Turtles are meant to be the most realistic yet... we should just expect this movie to be cartoony, bombastic and over-the-top. Maybe what they're trying to deliver (realistic/real-world, logical) just isn't going to be what we get - Bay's in charge of the action and we all know that he's about the spectacle, the blockbuster showpiece. Just please let it have some heart to go along with the SFX...

Was it worth the wait? If we actually get the real quality trailer released soon, I think so. Loved the new clips, the voice overs, everything! As of now, without the best look at the trailer to see if I have any nitpicks, I really enjoyed it.

Also, I loved the alien lines. I love when movies kind of give the little nudge to things that happened behind the scenes. Also, it helps people realize the turtles aren't aliens anymore.

I wanted to throw popcorn at my screen to try to get it to move. :lol:

Overall, it seemed like a marked improvement over previous trailers. However, Megan's delivery of her line and Donnie's bo staff car flip kinda made me wince. Loved getting a peek at Leo's sword skills though. Hope we'll see more of that in the full trailer in another week or two.

Fox's monotone, expressionless delivery was exactly what bothered me. Arching an eyebrow or injecting a hint of derision or humor into her voice would have been more appropriate, IMO.

And yes, I'm aware that I'm ragging on Fox's delivery of a single line. :P But her casting is one of the top three issues that I have with this movie.

EDIT: Thanks for posting the release dates Vicky! Waiting til September isn't as bad as waiting til October, so yay! :)

He doesn't.. no one does.. no one can prove that this was "all Bays fault" like they claim everything is.. Everything is Michael Bays fault.. The script writers wrote the blue door then they wrote this one meaning that they are probably poking fun at the situation as a whole.. as in it's not a big deal. As in " they're ninja's " so everyone can calm their britches.

I mostly agree, loving the fact Donnie's voice is modelled on the 2k3 counterpart (which happens to be my favorite version). Also like Mikey's and Splinter's voices but not quite sold on Leo's yet and need to hear more lines from Raph before forming an opinion on his.

Never have I seen so much intensity in a TMNT trailer.. Leo has an AWESOME shot of fighting the Foot swinging his swords around.. Imo.. this movie will by far be the best TMNT movie ever.. So many trolls are gonna eat crow, There's a part where "im pretty sure" they are making fun of some of the overly cynical trolls online that thought they were still aliens years after it was recanted.. Vernon says to April " So.. they're aliens?
April responds with: No! that's stupid, they're ninja's, it was kinda funny lol, so they actually do karate and stuff like that?

Well, personally maybe both sides should wait to reserve judgement on how great, or not, it's gonna be as a whole. (Opinions of various factors not included.) There is still a chance those who are in love with this are going to have themselves so hyped up then come away with it not being quite as good as they expected. That isn't exactly uncommon in movies that the hype turns out to be better than the actual product. But if they're lucky then maybe they'll be ecstatic when the credits roll.

the more I watch the trailer, and I've been watching it over and over again, the more Knoxville's voice is growing on me. I was a naysayer when his involvement was first announced, and my opinion may change when I hear more dialogue, but that battle cry, "Lets rock and roll boys", just sounds damn cool to me.

As far as the rest of the voices not fitting - because im so attached to the original cartoon, the voices for any other iteration always takes time to get used to for me, but eventually, "the dumb kid who made love to pie" eventually worked as Leonardo.

Wrong. Platinum Dunes hired Nemec and Applebaum, the two who wrote the script where the Turtles were aliens.
