okay, so this guy is basically RIPPING off the folks at CinemaSins...BUT...
...he does make some good (and funny) points about Steve Barron's 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'
nIC31Z4TLFQ
- the funniest 'sins' to me are: 1) how terrible Raph's 'going out' disguise is, and how its very obviously him, and 2) the first two times a sword is actually used is to cut food,

whats funny is that, its so obvious that this guy is a blatant rip off, and people have been giving him so much s*** over it, but 1) he refuses to acknowledge whats hes doing 2) he refuses to stop.
its pathetic.

I'll give THIS video credit...it has some original things about it. (Unlike his Return of the Jedi link a the end that is a blatant rip-off). It's almost Irate Gamer sad...

really? because I thought it was to avoid panic, and stares at a giant turtle walking through the streets of New York.

Irate Gamer's shtick wore off a LONG time ago, he was funny once - how the mighty have fallen.

I didn't find it that amusing when he starts it off by counting product placement as fails. Some things he counts suggest no understanding of the plot or source material, others seem like nitpicks or opinions rather than fails, and as a Star Wars fan I don't tend to like people acting like everything is mimicking Star Wars when Star Wars itself is a string of literary archetypes and tropes.
I just didn't think this one was well done.

Right on. If he had been trolling then maybe it could have been a little funny... but for real though that guy is dumb and I felt insulted by his attempt to dupe us into not seeing through his blatant ripoff reviews.

What a sad, sad man.
Although I always wondered how no one saw right through Raph's disguise.

Sexy is subjective. I for one, along with many others, find Judith Hoag to be very attractive.
But that's beside the point- April O'neil, contrary to casual belief, is not a sex object, nor was she created to be the series' eye candy. She's a regular girl who falls into some extraordinary stuff. Was she drawn to be pretty, well, yeah, but that doesn't mean she's supposed to be sexed up. Her purpose is to be the turtles' link to the human world, not their crush or yours.

Well thank goodness this newest movie will have Megan Fox then... Whom a department store mannequin could almost emote better than.
So is this guy who did this video known to do this for jerky reasons? I figured it was just in playful harmless poking and how it came across to me, but can't say I've seen anything else made by him or whatnot.

^^ All of this. I too found Hoag attractive, but that's neither here nor there - that's not the purpose of the character. It's not the duty of every female character to give the watchers a boner.

I know, right. It's such a lame, disgusting, childish thing to trash a movie because an actress wouldn't make the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit of the Week.
I can think of many well known, popular films that has a female lead I'm not really attracted to, at all. For example, I'm not really attracted to Carrie Ann Moss. Does that make The Matrix, the first one, and/or the actress herself complete garbage?
Is that what really defines a good movie/actress?
that wasnt funny.

Yeah, I'm not really too fond any of the "Everything Wrong With" or Honest Trailer vids. All they do is nitpick everything to death with such the mentality of junior high schooler. Very rarely do they actually make a true, valid criticism or on far less rare occasions the validity was intended as anything more than a simple jest.

Um... you guys know that these kinds of videos are made primarily for entertainment and many who do kind of bad-movie-reviews do films they even like and/or have a personal nostalgic relationship with. Don't take everything so serious.

True - it's probably just my sense of humor. I found Plinkett's Star Wars prequel reviews hysterical, this one just didn't do much for me.

I lived in the city for years, and I once saw a guy duck into the phone booth (yes, a phone booth), and urinate, because apparently finding a bathroom was too difficult a task.

Likewise, sounded only like friendly poking to me, esp of things that aren't bad but only potentially funny because they're (purposely?) so obvious. Now if he had spent too long talking about each little detail in an obvious effort to try to demoralize it... yeah.

Meh, I don't usually have a problem with several people doing a similar thing, more to watch and choose from. He copied the style, but not a specific content. But that's just me, opinions are divided, I know.

what i personally cannot stand is how this guy gets called out on his own youtube page for ripping off CINEMASINS, and instead of addressing it in a civil matter, like giving a clear explanation, maybe stating that he really admires their work, and it inspired him to do this thing...but no, he straight up just curses people out, making himself to look like even more of a DB.
it possible, IMO, to like the content a person produces, and just dislike them as a person. im sure we all have examples of that

Exactly. People would not have cared about four mutant turtles and the giant rat. They would have in fact thought it was an average occurrence.

Only thing I didn't like about the original movie is the fact that splinter was a pet that watched his masters moves from his cage. I hated that. Other than that, I can't find anything wrong with that film.

And Raph's disguise didn't even work that well. Remember the taxi he rolled over?
Passenger: "What the heck was that?"
Driver: "Looked like sort of a big turtle. In a trench coat. You'r going to LaGuardia, right?"
Guess they really didn't care that much.....
