View Full Version : Something I really want for this movie: Foot Ship
Mega Man

For this movie, ever since I read that the early draft of the script (or whatever) had a Colonial Shraeder instead of Shredder, I wanted a Foot ship. Even with Shredder, who I prefer over a Colonial character, here is how it would work:
The Foot Clan's main base is a huge modern ship, like a war ship. This would allow the Foot Clan's entire base to be able to move, instead of being stationed in one area. It would also allow for some cool scenes with all those military style Foot Soldiers aboard a ship, if that makes sense. I also think turtles vs. Foot Soldiers at the docks, and sneaking aboard Shredder's ship would be really cool. There could also be some Foot Soldiers being knocked into the ocean. So there would be good scenery, and for lack of taking time to further explain this, it would just be really cool in my opinion. Shredder would be a no nonsense captain of a ship before he puts his armor on to fight.

Eeeeeeehhh...
Within the silly military context of the new movie, sure why not.

I wouldn't be surprised if we got a military sort-of base for this version of the Foot in the movie. Though a ship sounds kinda silly, to be honest.

The Dread Pirate, Shredder. Wait.. military...
(Admit at first I thought this was possibly the online fan use of the word 'ship'.)

lol, yeah based on my limited knowledge of the 'ship' word in fan use, we don't need anything like that. :D
Pirate Shredder, lol, I'm surprised somewhat we didn't get an action figure like that in the 1980s/1990s toy line.
So I guess so far most people don't really like the ship idea.
Maybe this idea came from my subconscious mind, as thoughts related to TMNT 2K3 "Rouge in the House" parts 1 and 2, when Shredder did have a ship.

I wish there was no military in this movie at all. And no S.W.A.T foot.
And no pirates!!
Why can't the foot just be ninja's? Sounds like a simple but brilliant idea.

What? WHAT! No. Leo broke the plank off to pummel Shredder with it!
Admit it, TMNT version of Pirates of the Caribbean would be cool in a weird way. High Sea TMNT.

Thank goodness. I thought I was going to read about a horrifying subplot about foot ninja lovers. I was relieved to see it was a literal ship you were talking about.
That was my little victory for today.

Well if he's a colonial Shredder shouldn't he be against that stuff.

Not gonna lie, this is totally what I thought when I saw the thread title. I almost feel disappointed. I was like... shipping the Foot with who, exactly? Ah interwebz, you have rotted my brains.

Raph would make an excellent pirate. And someone totally needs to give Mikey a jar of dirt. :P
