As there are a lot of people from different countries in this forum and It's only a month till the movie comes out in the US so
I thought it be a good idea to do this thread letting people know about posting spoilers after you've seen the movie.

As most countries don't get the movie till later, for example October 17th for United Kingdom it's going to be hard to avoid spoilers.

I guess there will be a movie review thread so try to keep all spoilers in this section.

I also think it might be a good idea to do a Non spoiler movie review thread so that some people will know what the movie is like without getting spoiled.

If anyone makes a new thread, please don't put a spoiler in your title like for example "Why did Splinter have to die" or "Why did Raph and April Kiss" :D

Also If you make a thread that contains spoilers please put "Warning Spoilers" in your titles.

If anyone posts spoilers in non spoiler thread or outside the movie section in the forum, please use Spoiler Tags

Does anyone have any other ideas?

(please don't flame me for this, I'm not talking for myself, i'm thinking of others too. I know some people will say why don't you just keep out the thread ect
I'll try to but It's going to be hard to do that when you can't see the film for 2 months and I would like to see other peoples (non spoiler) opinions on the movie too)

Definitely a good. Idea. I hate how spaced global release dates are! I avoid spoilers like the plague but I hope people here be considerate and avoid posting spoilers all over the forum.

If I couldn't see the movie right away, I wouldn't visit The Technodrome until I did. I'll do whatever's courteous, but I wouldn't really feel sympathy for anyone who ventured in here and stumbled upon spoilers - even if it happened today. This will likely be the spoiler center of the internet. :ohwell:

But, in the spirit of contribution, I would suggest tagging threads as spoiler-free, instead, so people can still speak freely about the movie. I think that's the most important thing, in a forum. And then we can all just refrain from putting spoilers in thread titles.

But I suppose it doesn't matter what we want to do, if the mods lay out rules, which wouldn't surprise me.

or "Why did Raph and April Kiss" :D
Ah come on, that wouldn't be a spoiler, it would be helping to minimize the amount of PTSD others succumb to. lol :P

In seriousness, good idea to start bring this up now though, many are going to need to be practicing a good amount of self control and forethought when speaking about it post-U.S. release. (You know how Americans can be... :goof:)

*sigh* Why can't everyone just get movies at the same time. But maybe the internet would explode.

I feel you on this 1000% but considering most people are dumb or inconsiderate, if not both, I'm gonna just pass the below advice off to you & anyone else who can't see it immediately.

I wouldn't be surprised if people were stick very spoilerish images as their signature. A TMNT/April kiss will probably be one of the tops.

I will try my best to stay spoiler free but i have to agree with the post powder quoted...especially with so many gapped release dates
