Movie shredder design= Chrome Dome?

Dislike for this movie and it's designs nowithstanding... does anyone here think the shredder mecha armor would've made an awesome esign for a live action Chrome Dome? Chrome Dome is supposeed to be a robotic shredder anyway. I guess that's how I'll view Sachs/Mecha Shredder in this movie; a new take on Chrome Dome as a guy in a suit, working for the real, Scarred Oroku Saki behind the Scenes, lol.

Looks like there are 2 full suits. Possibly 3 if the one on the scroll in Sach's armor room is in the movie.

"We're taking your armour to the next level" i guess kinda implys that they are modifying the one suit maybe?

Good point. It does look like that. I think the idea of going this far with the armor is intriguing and even exciting, but I'd rather see it in a fanfic.

Its crazy that its 2014 and there is a Turtles film coming to theaters.

The inner child in me is marking the hell out right now.

That's what I said a while back too. It fits the bill as being chrome dome. It would be cool if Oroku saki decides that he will finish off the turtles himself in a final bout as the machine versions keep failing.

Really pulling out all the stops to push those toyz. "If we have six or seven Shredder armors in the movie, that means we can do AT LEAST that many figures of the same character! 'Super-Shredder'! 'Cyber-Shredder'! 'Super DUPER Cyber Shredder'!" Oof.

Does kinda look more like Chrome Dome than Shredder, in general, though.

I don't think the armor is different, do we have any side by side shots showing any differences? I looked at a few bits of footage but it didn't look substantially different to me.

I interpret "We're taking your armor to the next level" as "your armor is being modified so either a human or an utrom can pilot it" since I think Oroku Saki is in this movie as well as Ch'rell, the Red Utrom Shredder, who is Eric Sachs, the businessman "mascot" of the Foot Clan.

I think either Oroku Saki and Ch'rell are both in this movie, or Chr'ell (Eric Sachs) speaks to his Oroku Saki exo-suit as if it were the actual Oroku Saki.

This might be the case I only say because the armor looked so shiny in the sewer raid scene and less shiny in the sunlight. He almost looks like Jason in Jason X in the sewer raid.
