oh i agree with you - i just wanna see the fight choreographers going over the motions with the stunt men, watch the practice, then finally see a glimpse of it all come together for final rehearsal...then an overlay with the stunt turtles, and the final render (for just a few seconds before a big fight), then cut to black...with the words, see the conclusion in august.

Ok, that was AWESOME. Feeling better and better about this movie all the time. I hope a lot of the action scenes don't have slow-mo sequences to show the turtles doing stuff, I mean, they did it twice in the snow chase scene. Anyway everything looks awesome, especially the kid turtles, Splinter and Shredder! Seriously can't wait, and it was cool that they showed a little bit of the TMNT's history.

It all looked really good...some scenes of leo kicking butt, basically extended scenes of what the trailer shows when he does the kick at the foot standing behind him. More elaborate scene of mikey in the lair running and attacking the foot with the spin kick...um...them deflecting shredders flying blades...

We saw quite a bit of them training. During the snow scene, Raph jumps through the SUV back window, Mikey punches a hole through the ceiling of the same vehicle and uses that hand to grab the wheel. Honestly, Mikey being my favorite Turtle throughout all the iterations, he didn't say a line I didn't at least crack a smile at. I thought the dialogue actually subsided some of my fear of the script.

They were definitely in more traditional Foot attire and appeared to be a select number of them kneeling on mats. Shredder seemed to be giving very animated orders (angry?) Very reminiscent of Shredder's 2k3 Lair, I thought. My mind couldn't quite handle all the coolness happening at once. haha

I really liked what I saw from the special. I don't think younger viewers who saw Pete Plozsek being interviewed noticed that his voice is different from Johnny Knoxville. I did notice Michelangelo saying "Cowabunga" at least twice, so I'm happy that we have some more homage to the 1987 series.

Exactly when was Zod not the villain in MoS? I wasn't online much that year so I missed a lot of the scuttlebutt, but I swear they were pretty open about Zod and Co. at least several months in advance. I mean, if nothing else, I do know they weren't trying to keep a lid on it three weeks before release. All I remember them being coy about was whether or not Krypton actually blew up. And they never really said either way until the movie came out, but they definitely didn't swerve anyone either.

From what I have seen from the behind the scenes special, the movie looks great. The fighting from the turtles looks amazing. Hope the whole film turns out great! One other thing is that the movie, from what I have seen, reminds me of the 2003 series. :tsmile:

Since the comic book debuted 30 years ago this year, it seems that there are elements from all past incarnations. Along with the first two TV shows, we are also getting references to the original movies. Raphael lost his sais after a fight.

In one of the last episodes on Nick, Mikey was actually humming the old toon theme song. It would be a real nifty throw back to have someone humming or making up a rap similar to Turtle Power in the movie.

dude i was just looking at one of the articles in the one of the other threads, where they say that they have already done concept art for other popular characters from the OT but had to save them for the sequels. Bebop and Rocksteady please!!! And apparently they have included some version of the old theme song in the new movie..
