SAMXSTEAL posted in another thread that the official TMNT MOVIE YouTube page FINALLY SHARED the following:

- this thread ISNT to discuss the content of the trailers, BUT, to discuss:
"DO YOU GUYS THINK THAT ALL THE UPLOADING WE'VE DONE AS FANS, FORCED THEIR HAND? CAUSING THEM TO RELEASE FOOTAGE IN AN EFFORT TO COMBAT THE PHANTOMS ACCOUNTS HOSTING THE TV SPOTS ON YOUTUBE?"

Very possible... I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that they finally gave up and HAD to if they wanted the control over it. I mean, come on, they should have known it wouldn't stop... lol

If you guys think they're gonna make trailers without the intention of sharing them online, you're outta your minds.

What have fans been uploading? Clips? I highly doubt they released those because of fans on youtube. All movies get trailer variants especially getting close to the release.

It makes me wonder if they will post the 30 minute BTS special afterward. But we know fans will do it since, it will most likely contain a lot of juicy stuff about the movie.

my hope is that they, releasing it officially, would always be the case - but for some reason if never felt like they would.
Transformers: AOE had like 20+ spots released online en masse; all leading up to theatrical release - BUT the Turtles, there is only a few weeks left, and fans have released more online, than they have.

I'd love to think that we, the fanbase, are that powerful... but I don't think that we really had anything to do with this. The only people uploading are the hardcore fans, and this movie is being aimed at more than just that target market. I don't think the studio pays all that much attention to the fanboys. Call me cynical, I guess. :)

Dafaq??? This movie is all about the general audience and ignores the hardcore fans.

What gives you that idea?
Seems they have the hardcore fans in mind too what with the inclusion of OT elements, Mirage/IDW (ooze, origin, etc). I'm very pleased.
They've done a wonderful job tbh. Bravo Bay and team! :tlove:
At first I hated that they slapped Armor/Clothes on the Turtles but after some time to reflect i'm completely fine with it. The 87 Turtles had many different toy designs and it feels like they may have drew from some of them for inspiration.
87 Leo~ has footwear and armor. He also has a symbol on his shell.

Hey you know what I never noticed? That symbol on the Leo samurai toy looks just like the Gosei clan's symbol from the Mirage volume 1 comics. Mind = blown!
