Like: The tone and look of the film. I don't mind the designs either even if I wish they were a bit more ninja like. I love the subtle nuances with the mocap performances. It really brings the turtles to life.
Dislike: Knoxville as Leo. I just cannot get over this decision.

*Ironically enough, I like the idea of a movie finally doing something with Pre-Teen Mutant Ninja Turtles....despite my deep dislike of the 4Kids Toddler Turtles episodes...except maybe the first.
*Raphael's design, aside from his size, has kinda grown on me as has Leo's.
*The potential of the REAL Oroku Saki
*Splinter looks pretty cool.
DISLIKE:
*Mikey and Donnie's general designs, and the Turtles size in general. Seem to big for the Foot to be much of a threat...and I'm really wondering how besides "Story says so" they can over power 3 of the Turtles.
*Eric Sachs. Just strikes me as a huge piece of ridiculousness that his name is an Americanized sound-a-like to Saki. Fitchner is a good actor, but this idea has always seemed pointless.
*Megan Fox....not the best actress. If I'm liking Vernon over April, there's a serious issue. Vernon's supposed to be a douche.
*Military Foot. People wondered if the Turtles size would keep the from being real ninjas and having ninja style fights and not rely on their size and strength. Same could be asked of Foot Soldiers who are more soldiers than The Foot.

having just watched the BTS Special, I LOVED the calibur and style of the Martial Arts being employed. I never really felt that the Turtles got to be ninjas, and perhaps that was the restriction of the suits, but watching the acrobatics, and the weapon work that will be employed, im totally excited.
I dont like the fact that MIKEY PUNCHED through the roof of the truck. Even LEO didnt do that much damage, when he smashed into the windshield, but punching through the damn roof, 1) seems out of character, and 2) is giving the Turtles way too much strength. I was okay with their size, and possible stronger than average capabilities being mutants, but not freakishly superhuman, punch through solid surfaces kinda thing. I would have felt better, if he punched through the windshield, or side window, because glass is fragile, and it isnt out of the realm of possibility that it could break under the weight of a well placed punch.

Dislike... still, modal facial choices. More used to it by now, but including a touch of cuteness wouldn't have hurt... though I've been actively hunting for the parts of my fave that I find endearing still. Also finding that some angles and lighting are a little more flattering than others - like real life, as is the nature of the medium.
Love... their personalities; which finally getting plenty of that has helped a lot in my feeling over this film.
As I've said before, I pretty much left it to Leo to win me over to this thing and he's pretty much done his job. Esp after watching that extended footage of that snowy scene... rough scene for him, made me just wanted to hug the guy...something I would not have imagined until recently and knew he did his job at that point.
Edit: Find creepy...some remarks by Mikey and hope it's limited to what we know now.
Edity more: As long as it can stay civil, I like the idea of a thread like this. It's nice to see reasonable perspectives from both sides of the aisle and see what those who have been weary (like me) have picked up on that they do like, and what those who are only ever expressing overwhelming excitement actually are a bit iffy on.

I guess I'll start off with what I don't like:
- The Turtles' designs, especially Donatello. I just wish we could have gotten something similar looking to the Out of the Shadows designs.
- Megan Fox as April. I just don't see her as that good of an actress, and I think they should have gone with someone better. As I recall, Jane Levy, Elizabeth Olsen, and Anna Kendrick were up for the role. Anyone of them would have made a better April than Fox.
- Shredder's Armor. Personally, I think IDW Shredder's costume would work perfectly in a live action setting than what we are getting instead.
- Militarized Foot Clan. Would prefer if we actually had the Foot looking like a Ninja Clan instead of some black ops unit and carrying guns. Plus their masks look ridiculous.
- The fact that it's been stated that the film won't be as dark as the trailers make it out to be and instead it will be a straight up action-comedy.
Now with what I do like:
- Will Arnett as Vern. From what we've seen, his character looks pretty funny, and I did like him a lot as Lego Batman
- Leonardo's design. Other than the bamboo armor that he's wearing (Which I can't imagine will offer much protection when their shells are already bulletproof), I have complaints about his look. Face wise, he's the best looking Turtle of the four.
- Noel Fisher as Mikey. I may not like the design for Mikey, but I think Fisher was a perfect choice for his voice.
- Tony Shalhoub as the voice for Splinter. Much better choice that originally having Danny Woodburn as the voice.
- Looks like Saki will be in the movie.

Alright, hopefully what I say don't offend anyone (last thing I want to do). And this is just a mature post.
I am not going to say I like or dislike anything at this point. I am a firm believer of at least, waiting to see something first, before passing a final verdict/judgment.
But like with many, I can at least post about some things that are getting me excited, and some other stuff that has me kind of…eh, still.
Excited:
1) You know, at first, I was really put off with their looks. I still kind of wish we could have put a tiny bit of the old looks into their designs, but the noses and lips, etc, are growing on me. It's not…as bad, once you start to get used to it. And being a Donnie fan, I wasn't so keen on him looking so…souped up with tech. I thought it seemed a bit much like overkill, but now even that, is starting to grow on me. I also was put off by their sheer size (like dayum!) But you know, seen a few trailers and all, and now I see that they are larger (definitely), they at least kept differences. Don is a lot leaner (not as big) as the others, and Raph being the strongest (always to me in my opinion) he's the largest out of the four.
2) At first, I was too afraid the movie would be too much, super human action and not enough ninja fighting. And I wasn't sure how I'd like that. Now seeing the snow chase scene and the BTS stuff, I like how the martial artists are able to move much better than back in the day when they did the old Turtle movies. These motion capture suits seem to allow a lot more mobility and allow the artists to perform full on, completed ninjutsu than restricted full body suits. And I'm starting to kind of dig the action. I've seen some think the whole Mikey bashing through the roof of the truck to be a bit extreme, like it shouldn't happen, but it kind of matches with the sheer size of them now. And I'm kinda digging that.
3) I am digging how their personalities are shining through. I was skeptical at first that we'd really get to see any of that. I like how in some clips, Raph has a toothpick in his mouth, and Don being all technical to April how they're "Turtles", etc etc.
4) And with the release of the Legend of the Yokai clip, I kind of gel with the aspect of possibly there were Turtle kappas back in feudal Japan (I don't know- seems to put more of a oriental feel to their story and provide more of a bigger back story that was not possible before within our minds or just what we initially know about the Turtles).
What I am on the fence about still:
1) I am not saying this to flame or be rude. Megan Fox as April. She seemed to do a good job during the snow chase scene, but other stuff I've seen. Just seems kind of…flat? The BTS special, she just seemed really bored with it all. But that's just what I felt/saw. I'm not saying she is not going to do a good job.
2) I still kind of don't like how some of the Foot is portrayed as terrorists in a sense. Like really?
I was really on the fence about a lot of it, at first, now it's growing on me. And I'm more in spirit of seeing it, rather than take everyone's word for it. I understand that this is made for a new generation, and I am open. I just hope that this will prove to be a nice addition to Turtles' history, and not disappoint.

You guys can rest assure. I intend not to start any fighting or arguing on here, at any time. I always come out, saying I'm just stating my opinions. I allow others to express their own. It's just polite and normal order of things. And you know, there is a possibility that this movie ends up not being as great as I'm starting to grow to think it will be. But you know, I've liked Turtles for almost my entire existence. I'd never completely hate something that comes out of this franchise, nor would I ever completely turn my back on the Turtles for anything like a bad movie.

Like:
Turtle designs (especially Leo and Raph's)
The Shredder armor (i think it looks pretty badass)
Splinter's design (i think he looks wise, yet he looks he could whoop you)
Seeing the Turtles as pre-teens (always wanted to see it in live action)
The tone (not too serious and not too humorous like the 1990 movie)
Turtle's voices ( Noel and Jeremy and Alan sound perfect as them Knoxville is growing on me)
The Turtle's shell (i love how high they are)
Dislike:
Megan fox as April (they could have gotten a dozen of actresses for April like Jessica chainstan! but oh well)
The Foot being militaryized (don't understand the need for them to have guns)
the Turtles size minor nitpick for me (they could have been slighly smaller but oh well)
and yeah that's my list.

Another thing that I kinda dislike, but can live with if it's not too expanded upon in the movie, is the constant jokes about them being "teenage mutant ninja turtles" from the trailers. It's like they're afraid audiences just won't accept this even though the characters have been around for years. If there's too much wink wink/nudge nudge going on about it it's gonna get annoying fast.

*nod* Yeah, personally I think they put that in there and included it in trailer for the same reasons they included "aliens." Seeing as how people flipped over a shortened title and the thought that they might have been grown.
Really I wish they'd have just left their age unaddressed and let people take it for what they wanted.

The wardrobes of the Turtles. I'm actually pretty okay with their physical appearance, but the clothing just sucks for my tastes. Sometimes less is more, and they really overdid it here. Donatello especially looks awful to me. I like the idea of giving them individual costumes rather than the same belt/pads combo for each one, but again, less is more. Simplify these designs and I'd like them more. Raph is actually pretty decent, minus the needless shades.
Like
The fact that they seem to have nailed the individual personalities of the Turtles. That is always the biggest make-or-break for me when it comes to any adaptation, and these characters truly act like the TMNT from what I've seen. So, while they may not look ideal, I'll still be able to lose myself in the story because I'll still feel like I'm watching the Turtles and not four new characters. I'm especially fond of what I've seen from Mikey and Raph.

The designs. At first, I was way put-off. Like burn-it-with-fire put-off. But the newer footage over the last few months brought me around. The promos just do not do the cgi justice, and even the unfinished cgi treads into that uncanny valley because they definitely tweaked the faces from the earlier footage to the newer. But I guess it all just grew on me as well, because I like them. Especially Donnie and Mikey (who seems to have an openness about his expressions, it really shows that he's the "baby" of the group, which I'm just gonna go ahead and attribute to Noel Fisher's acting 'cause it's his face the cgi is following.)
That it seems, (for now), not too crazy scifi in the setting. I always dig the stories that are grounded a bit more in everyday New York and not alternate dimensions and Donnie making hovercrafts and stuff.
Donnie. Just straight up Donnie. Love the guy they got to play him, he is totally owning it for me. I don't even mind the glasses. (I remember reading somewhere that it'd been intended for him to be near-sighted in one of the incarnations, but it escapes my mind at the moment.)
Baby turtles. I want more than just three minutes of them doing quick training and pizza slicing. I want to see them get into some baby turtle hijinks together.
Dislikes:
Eh, I can't really give any sort of in-depth complaints until I see the movie. A lot of them are just superficial "what?? why??" type of stuff that's been reiterated many times over here and there.
Except maybe that they didn't let the original guy voice Leo. It was so spot on. He had that exact calm, big brother voice that suits Leo. Grr.

I'm hoping it's just for the trailers and there will be less of it in the movie. Mikey saying, "We're also teenagers... but can have adult conversations," was kinda funny, but did he really need to say that? And okay, fine, if he did they didn't need to repeat it so many times.
Megan: So you guys are mutant ninja turtle teenagers?
Don: Well, when you put it that way it sounds RIDICULOUS!
Har har har.
Seriously, I can get over it though if it's only those few snippets in the film.

Dislikes: Design aesthetics
-Megan Fox as April
-Will Arnett as Vern
-William Fichtner as some sort of Shredder/Main villain who is a white politician (He's a good actor but the whole white-washing thing irks me to no end, even if they did do some sort of last minute adjustment to that)
-Shredder being a Swiss army Megatron
-Turtle designs (Namely the noses [not nostrils but NOSES], pronounced lips, excessive accessories/clothes, heightened shell, & gargantuan proportions... which I guess is the whole thing, more or less, oops. :trazz:)
-Militarized Foot (which seems to be an extension of the white-washing)
Dislikes: Modern action film cliches that "just don't feel like a turtles movie"
-Boner Joke(s)/Fox butt shots

-Everyone is super-powered
-Real life physics have no place here
Dislikes: Additional issues
-Raphael seems to be the star once again
-Turtles created in a lab/fate concept
-No hint of Saki/Yoshi influence so far (short of who maaaaay be Saki in the one trailer)
-Retains much of the original "scrapped" script's ideas
-Would have preferred suits to CGI as originally proposed but I understand why that was changed
-Inclusion of Turtle Van/Cheapskate/Turtle-Com
-Too many jokes about the concept of the turtles themselves
-The idea of being 'grounded in reality' is constantly contradicted & thus shouldn't even be a factor

Powder: Wow, way to completely remove my need to post, jagoff. You pretty much hit close to how I feel on most of that. To put some of it into my own words, in (semi-) brief:
Dislikes:
- Most of the visuals. As Powder said, way too bright, way too flashy, way too over-the-top, way too "modern action movie cliche". All the "Ninja" of these Ninja Turtles seems like an afterthought at the expense of more mayhem ("Bayhem"?).
- Character Designs. Way, way too overdone. Everyone looks like a rejected Rob Liefeld design, with all the extra stuff tacked on everywhere (especially Donatello, who I could totally see getting his ass handed to him in a fight because he was too busy trying to protect his Proton Pack. And those stupid f***ing glasses. He's a nerd, we get it), and Shredder, who looks like a caricature out of Mad Magazine. Everyone looks like their own variant action figure. It's so gaudy, for no reason except "it's different". Y'know, having diarrhea is "different", too, but I wouldn't want to suffer through that for 90 minutes, either.
- The inconsistency. They've trained to master martial arts... yet they're tanks who can punch through steel. Their punches can break steel or brick... but don't knock anyone's head off their body Toxic Avenger-style. Their shells are bulletproof... yet Leo's wearing this "armor" made of itty-bitty pieces of twig-sized bamboo. The designers defend certain style choices as being "more realistic", yet every single action shot exposes that this is clearly a cartoon. They don't know what kind of movie they're trying to make.
- Super-powered Turtles. They don't need to go there.
- The "Comedy". None of the "jokes" I've seen in the trailers have been funny to me, and apparently there's a ton more in the same vein. I like a little humor in my TMNT, but this seems too juvenile.
- Length. With so much action we've already seen, and the promise of much, much more, at under 100 minutes it looks like it's going to be very rushed through, and I'm mostly expecting a lot of action at the expense of character development or storyline.
Likes:
-The energy of the action scenes, if not the execution. I feel you can be fast-paced and hard-hitting without having the characters do things that outright break the laws of physics just because it's a movie and most of your audience won't know or care any better. I like the intensity, the energy, the speed, but not the super-powers or the bulletproof shells or things like that.
-Personalities. The Turtles seem to mostly act as we know them, although, as usual, I have a feeling 5 minutes of Mikey is going to feel like five hours. I liked him a lot as a kid, but with the trend since 2K3 being to make him progressively more irritating with each incarnation, I'm starting to hate that guy. But on the whole, their personalities and their bond seem well-represented.
Keep in mind, this is only based on what we already know, not anything we're still speculating about. So I can't say how I really feel about the cast, music, or Shredder's "real" character until we see the final product, other than to say, "My hopes aren't super high".
And not to argue about anything, while I do feel the need for that ever-elusive "Something different", the rooftop fight with Shredder IS an "Iconic" scene in most every incarnation, and I do feel that it ought to be represented, even if it's a bit cliche at this point. They do it a little different each time anyway. They've obviously gotten SO far from the traditional route with this version, I'd be happy to have at least SOMEthing be sort of the same.

Yeah, Powder and Leo are pretty much on-point with the majority of my likes/dislikes. I mean honestly, I'm still disliking more items than I'm liking... but I'm at the stage where I'm sick to death of the arguments about it. I just don't have the emotional energy at the moment to keep repeating why I don't like Bay's over-the-top style or why Megan Fox irks me.
At this stage, I'd rather try to save my on-point criticisms or praises until after I've seen it. Despite myself, my hopes are up but I am aware that as I am not ordinarily a popcorn movie person, this may not be my cup of tea. *shrugs* So be it. Like I said, just feeling kind of burnt out on the whole debate at this stage!

My foot is in both camps with the people who dislike and like the movie. There's a lot of things that I like and a huge amount of things I don't like. I still am very excited to see this movie premiere night.
Likes:
The Turtle designs are pretty good.
Turtles look intimidating and reptilian.
Tony Shaloub sounds decent as Splinter.
They look like mutated turtles and have a cool brute physique.
The turtles seem like the turtles we all know.
The CG looks good at times.
The action looks insane.
Shredder looks cool.
New story/take on the mythos.
Seems to have funny parts.
PG-13 rating.
Donny cursed in the motion poster (hopefully in final cut)
Won't oversexualize April as stated in interview.
Seems very fun and entertaining.
Very epic scale for a Turtles movie.
Dislikes:
CG looks pretty bad at times.
Tone seems more light-hearted than previously thought.
Seems like a generic action comedy than a grounded, deep comic film.
Turtle accessories and clothing are way too over the top (we understand their personalities already)
Foot seem to be to military sequence with guns (keep it minimal)
Seems too whitewashed at times with the military white dudes playing the Foot and Sachs.
Megan Fox isn't my first choice as April.
Knoxville as Leo.
Abby Elliot seems useless in the scheme of things.
Too Fred Wolf. Mostly catering to the 87 cartoon fans.
Karai doesn't need to be in this film.
Another take on Karai as Shredder's daughter. (Keep her unrelated)
Dumb Nick influence with the Shellraiser. Cheesy.
There are way better composers than Brian Tyler.
No Casey.
Burn is a black female.
Music soundtrack choice in trailer with Skrillex and single from Wiz Khalifa is horrible.

I think Leo656 and Powder have covered most of the points I would bring up, but my biggest gripe with this film is the "in your face" extreme abilities of the Turtles (bulletproof shells, Don flipping over a car with his bo, Raph crashing into a military Humvee, extreme size and Hulk strength of the Turtles) and the extreme visual stereotyping with the Turtles (Donnie wearing regular glass during this fight and a proton pack, Leo's unnecessary ancient gear to reinforce the "traditional" one personality, etc.)
A way how I can describe the disappointment with how dramatically these Turtles have changed, and how their stealthy, subtle ninjitsu essence is lost, would be like seeing the cute and pretty girl-next-door you remember from high school pursing a modeling career, and then seeing her 10 years afterward, and noticing how dramatically and artificially transformed she has become to be more "attractive" to the masses in all the most extreme ways. Such as having massive plastic surgery on her face (where she barely looks familiar at all to how you remember her), huge breast and buttock implants, extreme dieting like a runway fashion model, and having a loud and outrageous hairstyle, because these elements are all what make her "attractive" or "appealing" but yet the overall effect of all of these changes clash with each other and are far more detrimental. The original, subtle and natural essence of what made her appealing in the first place is lost because her image has been transformed to such an extreme and artificial degree.
With that said, the only things that I "like" is the Channel 6 news crew with Whoopi Goldberg and a possible twist of having April's father involved with the mutations.

There's no way a bullet would go through shells that thick/big. It might chip tiny little pieces off though.
I finally figured out that donatello doesn't flip the humvee. He keeps his staff retracted when its on his back. He pushes the button immediately after he pulls out. He shoves one end of his staff into the indent in the humvee, then the second end hits a snow covered rock on the ground. He doesn't use his muscles or anything, it would be like driving a car straight into a metal pole sticking out of the ground.
Raph destroying the hummer is definitely overboard though.

I'm not sure if there's anything I like anymore. The few things that did seem that I might like may have just been things that weren't done horribly wrong in my opinion.
I think the big thing I dislike is the asinine thought process behind the decisions that were made. They're experimented on and given super strength and bulletproof shells, but the scientists couldn't be bothered with fixing Donatello's near sightedness. Nevermind the guy can build a "proton pack", rocket powered skateboards, etc., but he can't do better than busted up glasses that would be a hindrance in a fight.
What's the point of training them in ninjitsu when they have super strength and bulletproof shells. Apparently Leonardo, often depicted as Splinter Jr., isn't all that stealthy with the ground crunching as he runs.
The Shredder is horribly designed never mind ridiculously impractical with his blades. The blades that pop out are all different style blades and thus aren't optimal for that particular style of weapon. It's so bad it's funny in what's supposed to be the badass money shot.
I could keep going on, but I think Powder and Leo hit a lot of the same things I dislike about it.

I'm being picky here but my only dislike is the size of Raph's arms and shoulders. I'm all for him being the biggest/strongest of the four, but his arms are at least twice as big as any of his brothers and then some, they're huge! And each shoulder is bigger than his head. Just seems too much, maybe I'll get used to it. The build of the others I like.
I'm reserving judgement on Megan Fox until I see the full film (hope she doesn't spoil it).
As far as likes goes, pretty much everything else!
- The turtles personalities are what I'd expect and the overall TMNT tone and humour is there. The voices are pretty good too.
- The designs look amazing. Love their faces (nostrils and lips included) and all their gear, especially Donnie's tech, can't wait to see what he can do with all that. Splinter looks great and Shredder looks menacing, as he should.
- Always enjoyed seeing the turtles as kids.
- The fighting action looks impressive.
- The realistic CGI.
- I like the way they seem to be creating their own origin without straying too far from what feels familiar in other incarnations. The legends, the Japanese background/influence, the experimental science, I think it will all gel really well together.
- The lair! Each and every room looks superb.
So hyped it's unreal! :D

-Boner Joke(s-Shaky cam/lens flare/other modern flashy crap film tactics
-Way too much daylight/not enough shadow
-Big snowy mountain focus (Should be more city/street oriented)
-Huge focus on car chases/explosions/other action film tropes
-Guns, guns everywhere
-Dubstep
-Everyone is super-powered
-Real life physics have no place here
Dislikes: Additional issues
-No hint of Saki/Yoshi influence so far (short of who maaaaay be Saki in the one trailer)
-Retains much of the original "scrapped" script's ideas
-Inclusion of Turtle Van/Cheapskate/Turtle-Com
-Too many jokes about the concept of the turtles themselves
-The idea of being 'grounded in reality' is constantly contradicted & thus shouldn't even be a factor
Likes: (Not enough to make categories)
-Turtle voices sound pretty good
-Personalities seem on point thus far
-Getting to see the turtles as kids
-Training sequence(s)
-Action/fights have potential
-The lair is downright awesome
-Turtles look well-rendered/the effects in general look nice
Took out what didn't apply to me(which wasn't much) and that's my answer.

Pros:
I like that they are FINALLY doing a TMNT movie via live action with CGI, it's something that should have been done since Jurassic Park came out.
The personalities, so far that I am seeing, seem to be spot on.
The voices are spot on (although, I do wish it was Pete and not Knoxville voicing Leo, but as is, Knoxville is fine)
I do like that the Turtles are tall. Maybe one Turtle being short was OK, but I have always preferred them taller myself.
I do like the stylized/panoramic shots that the movie seems to have going for it.
I like how they aren't afraid to have major scenes in the daylight, (the ultra darkness so many movies have going for it now, is kind of on the dreary side)
I particularly like the idea of a snow themes action scene.
I like that they are not rehashing the same exact plot that I have now seen, what, 4 times now.
Cons:
I'm still not quite happy with some of the facial designs. Mikey's is probably the worst.
Not a fan of sneakers and the clothing, and Donnie's glasses.
I'm not too crazy how big they got Raph. He's too big in my opinion. I think they should have had Leo and Mikey about the same mass as Donnie, and then Raph be about the same mass as Leo is. But right now, Raph reminds me of one of those huge mtherfckers at the gym, the ones my friends and I make fun of being so big, they probably can't even wipe their ass.

I think there was a topic like this before.
I like what Ive seen so far. The only complaint I kinda agree with is the turtles look a bit too big but I think its just one of those things that looks better in the actual movie and not quickly edited trailers. 90s live action turtles were bigger than people. They certainly were not in proportion to an average human.
This is just another "lets repeat why it sucks" topic though. It's because Michael Bay, Megan Fox, clothing and nostrils. How dare the turtles can smell.

Word - I know some people here are going to rain scorn down upon me for saying this, but whatevs... I'm actually seriously considering not seeing it at the cinema since The Great Fart Revelation. It could be the straw that's broken this particular camel's back.
At this stage, I still plan on watching it eventually - but the Bayisms have become more and more loomingly obvious with each TV spot we've had in the last fortnight or so. If the only thing I like about what I'm seeing is that they seem to have their personalities intact - maybe I just shouldn't bother.
Like Leo said, I'm not about to shell out $50 to see a movie that's going to insult my intelligence. If I wanted dick and fart jokes, I'd watch a Kevin Smith movie (or I would, if I could stand Kevin Smith movies). There's a world full of movies out there that I do enjoy - I'm thinking I'd be better off just focusing my time and energy on them for the time being.

I love Kevin Smith movies and even I think his style is way too low-brow for almost everything except His Specific Kind Of Movies. Plus Kevin Smith is kind of a thing you only completely "Get" if you're from NJ, anyway.
That said, I don't really like the way he does other people's stuff, like, at all. I'm glad he made a good living talking about getting fired from the Superman project, but at the same time, I'm also glad he got fired from the Superman project. His script and his ideas were way better than Burton's and Peters', but still completely wrong from the opposite direction. And it had a lot of the same problem this TMNT movie seems to have, insofar as being too cutesy and "wink-wink" and random spatterings of lowbrow "comedy".
I think there's a time and a place for that and I don't think this TMNT movie is the time or the place. Frankly, I'm seeing very little that will make someone who doesn't love TMNT already fall in love with the franchise, but I do see a lot of stuff that can make a non-fan say, "See? I told you this was stupid." :ohwell: I don't know.

I don't like the way the turtles look. They look too big and weird for me, but I'll get over it.
Like: The designs for the turtles made me sort of hesitant at first but now I'm very much into them. Shredder's "mech" costume is awesome and Splinter looks great. The sibling banter between the turtles seems to be very much in tact and their personalities are shining through. It's pretty clear that this movie will have a fine balance between action and humor.
Dislike: I won't count it as disliking them so much but I'm not quiet convinced by the human aspect of the movie yet. Other than Will Arnett who I think is funny and might be perfect for this version of Vernon I'm really not a fan of anybody else. We'll have to see, but who really watches a movie for what is suppose to just be side characters anyway?(...let's hope.)
Indifferent: The fact that the foot seem to be a mixture of military like and ninja. They have always carried guns and swords in pretty much every prominent version of the TMNT especially the Mirage and OT universes so I really don't see an issue.
