$4 AND it has in-app purchases? That's just greedy. I had trouble dropping $5 on the GotG app, but they heavily advertised the lack of in-app purchases, so I begrudgingly paid. If a game is going to have in-app purchases, it ought to be free, or at most $1.

The game is actually very fun, I like it quite a lot ! However Danny Woodburn does not suit Splinter at all in my opinion as there is not even a fake sounding Japanese accent, just old man. Also maybe I am too used to him as Mickey from Seinfeld ha ha !

It's Woodburn trying to sound like an oldish man I would say, does not fit the character but it's still a fun game . The turtles voices are all different too

That is probably the reason why Woodburn's voice was replaced in the film. They were not satisfied with it and wanted to take a different approach. They probably felt the same way with Pete Plozsek's voice and that's why they got Knoxville to do Leonardo's voice.

i kinda wish the movie turtle actors also did their respective characters in the game. I wonder if they just did it for Woodburn as a consolation prize, which would be a slap in the face. yeesh.

lets put it this way with the animation and art style of the game his voice fits be has a higher register to his voice then tony does Tony's is deeper with seems to fit the movie better IMHO, thought Danny's voice work in the game is good

Dannys voice isnt terrible as splinter..granted i couldnt watch a whole movie with splinter like that but it works for this game

I've only played the first few stages, but its basically an arena brawler - you handle 'waves' of opponents, earn gems/points, upgrade your stats/skills/weapons, lather, rinse, repeat.

Is it an amusing past time? sure.

Keep in mind, you never move your character - you simply direct them to attack and they move in the direction of their enemy, but if there is no enemy present in the direction you want your turtle to go, you're SOL...perhaps im trying to be TOO strategic for a simply pick up and go brawler, but just the same, those are my thoughts.

if this movie is actually tied to the movie, Like in more then just the name and designs, Then there is alot to it, with Characters and such involved. The foot and bosses, mutants enemy purple dragons and such. I think there is alot of potenial. The game is addicting and fun to play, with a nice story

I showed this to my little nephews and it's a hit. They couldn't stop playing and love upgrading the turtles weapons (got some laughs out of the ridiculous weapons like fish bones and chicken drumsticks :tlol:).

Really worth it, we had fun! :tlove:
