Bebop, Rocksteady and Casey Jones TMNT II?

Well I am really intrigued at the idea and at comic they said they will be open to the idea of adding Bebop, Rocksteady and Casey Jones. I believe they have stated that they already discussed the idea and would like to include these characters in the next installment!!!!

I don't care about Bebop or Rocksteady either way, but they sure as hell be open to the idea of Casey Jones. He's as much apart of the Turtles lore as April is.

I would enjoy to see Casey in a potential sequel. But Bebop & Rocksteady. I'm torn on them, don't really know how thier antics would translate into film. I'd rather see Slash or The Rat King.

Of course, I'd like to see any familiar characters return in this series rather than them making up new characters, but personally I'd much rather they explore the sci-fi aspects of TMNT with this series. Gimme Utroms and Triceratons instead, please!

I just don't think you can have Bebop and Rocksteady in a live action movie without having a dumb and dumber campy element to them which ultimately brings down the film and we start heading towards 'The Next Mutation' direction....

Casey on the otherhand, can work but they're going to have to go in the direction of the 4kids version and not the nick one to come close to matching 'This Raph'. It's going to be very tough to find an actor to come close to Elias Koteas especially that this Casey is going to have to be ripped but it's definitely possible.

Other characters who could work than TMNT's Dumb and Dumberer are: Slash for sure, Leatherhead (as an anti hero), Tiger Claw, Han, hell even Fishface and Rahzar. You need characters who can support the story whilst being threatening and hold their own at the same time. I think these guys all have those qualities at least plus they'd look great in cgi.

The problem with the Rat King is he isn't really a supporting role he would have to the main bad guy if they were to have him and it seems Shredder/Krang are going to continue to be the main bad guy/s through out these movies.

Well, instead of him meeting Raph and fighting him, what about one of the other, less bigger Turtles. Maybe Leo (since they swapped the whole Leo being taken out by the foot with Raph instead, just do the reverse in the movies for another iconic scene)

I would be scared to see what Bebop and Rocksteady would look like in this movie. They'll probably have spikes coming out of their body and look like huge ogre's or something to keep up with the oversized Turtles.

IDW just handled these two right, and people are STILL harping on the 'dumb and campy' baloney? :trolleye: Bebop and rocksteady have a higher foot ninja kill count than the turtles do in the IDW-verse, and people STILL have thier brains locked on the Fred Wolf versions!

Urgh, you know what? Forget the Mirage cultists, let's see the IDW-style Bebop and Rocksteady in the films. :)

I think they really need to utilize Baxter Stockman before Bebop and Rocksteady. They would make a good end-cap if the franchise makes it to three films. Plus, is Baxter in the new film? I would think that would be a good lead-in to using him next.

Bebop and Rocksteady? Haven't seen them before! :roll: They are already in the IDW comics and the Nick series, do they have to be in freaking everything? I thought this film series was about trying new ideas not recycling the same **** we have seen before.
