Light Grey suit subtle nod to Shredder like the Blue Tie with Ploszek and the Red Shirt from Ritchson?

Looks like we don't need to spoiler anymore info from him. So be sure to check out his website to see some of his other work, clearly his voice and face.

Hopefully he gets more work out of this, it's hard enough for Asian actors as it is.

Just thank god he's Asian and they didn't go with a white man Eric Sachs Shredder.

You can thank the fan backlash for that just like the alien Turtles nonsense

Well, Hes listed in the IMDB however, But why would that be a spoiler? We know Shredder was being played by someone else, And we found out who the actor is.

Cool :) So why was it a secret?

If for generating interest and talk, hiding who acted out the Turtles prob would have done more. ;)

Victories for both "causal" and "hardcore" fans. But why do I always get the feeling when you incorporate both old and new I always come out of the theater with a "Meh" feeling... Of course there has been some exceptions to this the recent being Godzilla. Hopefully both of my favorite franchises gets its justice. Gozilla already followed through now its your turn TMNT

The white washed Shredder thing was news that came straight from the source. This was the movie sabotaging itself. If this movie bombs, they have themselves to blame as well.

You all just wait... no matter how this goes it will probably get a sequel... and your fave's actors will get them into some questionable gif footage in due time. I will see to it...

The process in the making of this movie has been quite strange and so has been the marketing and the news of it. So apparently the turtles were original gonna be aliens and the Shredder white and it turns out neither was true after all. Did the media just take some statements out of context or was this some strange marketing strategy all along? Because if it was the latter I don't think it worked very well. It got people talking about the movie sure, but it was mostly backlash from both big fans and casuals. Seriously, I've never seen a movie that's gotten so many thumbs down from both hardcore fans and casual ones alike. Even people I know who barely know the names of the 4 turtles didn't like the idea of "alien turtles" nor of the "white shredder" at all.

Nope. Totally True.

Turtles were Aliens. Fans were Outraged. Changed

Shredder was White. Fans were Outraged. Changed

People can believe the 'we planned it that way all along' but it was backlash plain and simple.

Here's an interview he did yesterday. He was not allowed to say anything about his role in the film until it premiered. He, like most people, assumed that Fichtner was going to be Shredder before he began filming his scenes.

That's interesting, So there were no reshoots, Its just the Studio forced him, not to say anything about his role, until the movie came out.

Anyways, I hope they bring him back, He did fine with the role.

It's called public relations, a.k.a. lying. You can tell watching the movie that Sacks and Shredder were originally the same character and bringing in another (Asian) actor to play Shredder was a response to people calling them on whitewashing the role. But good luck getting them to admit that now.
