Hey guys. I'm planning on recording a commentary for the first movie and making it available online. As many of you know, I work in the entertainment biz and know a few behind the scenes secrets regarding the first movie. I love movie commentaries and was disappointed there was not one for TMNT. Would this be something you guys would be interested in hearing, or do you think it would be a waste of my time? Let me know and I'll get started.

A possible TMNT internet-radio show in the future?

Definitely, I've been a huge fan of the original and still am. I've always been interested in how it was made (too bad there's no documentary on the original or something). So audio commentary would be excellent. Please do it.

That's totally do-able -- I have a Shoutcast account. What I had in mind was a little different: just record yourself explaining various updates in the TMNT, do a few commentaries, maybe by some fashion even conduct interviews with "elite" fans; you know, fan artists and fan authors or just about anybody who's made a signifcant contribution to the community (if my TMNT DOOM 2 mod hadn't been aborted and was finished, you could've interviewed me since that would've counted as a BIG contribution :D)

As far as the interviews go, one method could be to contact the person over an instant messenger, do a voice chat, and find some way to record it all. You can then add it to the radio show later on. If that fails, a (somewhat crappy) alternative could be to pre-record your interview questions in a wave file, send it to the interviewee, have him/her record his/her answers seperately and insert them whereever approrpriate between the questions and then have it returned to you for finalization. Of course, that would lose the feel of an "interview" since there's no room for follow-up questions and no TRUE interaction between you and the interviewee, so this should be a last resort. If you have to do it online, the first option should be better, but of course the most surefire way is to interview in person and convert it to a computer sound format later, but what are the odds of you knowing someone from the TMNT online community in real life? :|

Oh yeah, and make sure the entire show is in OGG VORBIS format; that's how the short-lived DOOM Radio show was encoded ;)
