It's frustrating, there is a ton of activity here on the movie board with people posting tons of clips (there's like 23 tv spots at a minimum right now, with more coming i'm sure!), impressions, all sorts of things... but after seeing trailer 2 i'm trying to stay away from spoilers as much as possible.

Anyone else in this boat? Do you want to see the movie knowing as little as possible or are you the type that wants to read every detail and see every clip before the movie comes out?

To me, the later is just ruining the experience... by the time you sit down in the theater you have already seen so many fragments that you've probably witnessed half or more of the best moments and it just won't have the same impact.

I had wanted to, yeah, but the first few trailers alone sort of laid out the entire film, so I feel it's too late to bother. In some sense, though, I am a little grateful for spoilers. Being I was one of the "leery" crowd, I'm glad I can go into it knowing it's exactly what I thought it would be. I don't have to get my expectations set for there to be a pleasant surprise only to be let down even further. Knowing what I know, I can say that my opinion of it likely can't be much worse now than it will be after having seen it, so I'm contented, if only for the fact there's nothing left to be upset about. All the things I dislike or figured I would have been disclosed to me. All that's left is to try & enjoy the in-betweens.

Not trying to start anything in saying this, it's just my opinion.

I am not typically the guy who wants to know everything up front, but in this case, I opted to brace myself.

Eh, I'unno. I really thought I wasn't going to like "Man of Steel" and was suspicious of their intentions from the start, so I made it a point to find out as much as I could about it beforehand. There was a lot of things I wasn't in love with or didn't agree with, but I went anyway and it pleasantly surprised me. I didn't know about the Big Moment at the end, so that was a surprise, but some of the choices they made went down a little smoother since I was already expecting them. My wife, on the other hand, avoided almost everything about it beforehand, and, despite being way more optimistic about the movie than I was, violently hated it, and is only now starting to warm up to it even a little. It was too much "different" all at once, for her, but I already had certain expectations for it, and for me it exceeded them.

"Spoilers" don't bother me at all, as for me it's all about seeing HOW they put it all together. But, I also don't like or care about "surprises" anyway. Everyone is different, though.

I'm starting to avoid stuff and be real selective. I want to see what's put out there, but at this point there's been so much, now it's too much. I hope there are still scenes that will be entirely unknown to me that I've never seen any clip or image from...
