The mistake I noticed is when April O'Neil as a child in 1999 was filming with a 2013 bluetooth video camera.:tconfuse:
Please feel free to post other movie mistakes on this thread.
Let's see how many we can rack up.

I noticed that too. My dad pointed out that bluetooth did exist in the late nineties, he said he paid 200 bucks for his first bluetooth headset in 1998 or something. Still, camera's like that weren't around, they definitely ****ed up
Something I noticed is April says something like "this is the last can of mutagen" then throws it off the building. Then they use mutagen to revive splinter, so apparently it wasn't the last one

I consider the lack of clarity with April's dad setting fire to the lab and dying in the fire, then later he's claimed to have been shot to death. And was April IN the building when he set it on fire?
Also the mutagen being designed as a panacea, but caused mutation completely and wildly apart from the intention of its design, yet obtaining it is still going to keep the plan moving forward as a panacea.

I assumed that she thought he didn't get out and died in the fire but that he actually died when Sacks shot him.
Not so much "mistakes" as things that break simple logic, but hey, here's a few.
During the hostage scene, Karai is walking around with no mask on, which is idiotic. Subway stations have tons of security cameras (which the Turtles even tapped into), so she should have her face plastered all over the news, shouldn't she? As well, any disturbance on that level would be responded do very quickly by the police. Also, the trains were still running, though you'd have to figure any act of terrorism would result in an immediate shutdown/lockdown situation.
In the climax sequence, the Turtles run into a large hangar area full of vehicles, weapons, gear, and Foot Clan members. This is occurring inside the Sacks corporate headquarters. The Foot Clan have been terrorizing the city for a long period of time, and were shown to drive large and conspicuous vehicles while on their missions. How is it that nobody has ever noticed them coming to and from a major corporate building in downtown Manhattan? And how has nobody who works in that building noticed that there's a large terrorist group operating there? Was there a secret terrorist headquarters included in the building plans? How is it possible that nobody would notice that or ask any questions about that space, at the very least?

There was one point where Raph's lip scar switched sides. I forget which scene that was.
Karai got a nasty slice across her right cheek which was a fresh, open wound in the scene she appeared immediately afterward, but then it disappeared for the rest of the movie.

but that's not sarcasm
Another "logic mistake":
When April was trying to prove her story about the Turtles to Thompson and wound up getting fired, didn't she have a photo of the Turtles on her phone? I could be wrong, but I don't believe she ever showed that photo to her boss. Yet, after being fired for following a story without solid evidence, she immediately visited Sacks and showed him the photo, which was clear enough to show they were humanoid turtles. At that time she wasn't trying to protect them and was actively trying to prove their existence. Why wouldn't she be showing this picture to literally everybody?

Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. Part of the story line of the movie. So pretty much, the police dont care, the politicians ask no questions. Money can keep you hidden better than Harry Potters cloak.

They don't care about a terrorist group taking hostages and planting bombs in a NYC subway line in the year 2014? Even if they're completely bribed and corrupt, there's no way the powers that be would be able to keep something like that a secret, much less allow it to happen on their watch.
Besides - did the movie itself establish that the Foot Clan had this much control over the police and politicians, or just the movie summary online? I honestly don't remember.

April not showing the pic to Whoopi. Shredder gets kicked off the building, and climes up a different side he was kicked off of. Raph smashing into the hummer after his shell was cracked. I think I saw the foot start flying before the shipping container hit them. I could be wrong. Did Splinter have some kind of spidey sense? If not how did he know they were going to blow a hole in the lair? Ill try to think of some more.

Ever been to Mexico? The police there are so corrupt that the Cartels can kill and murder in broad daylight. They even kill movie stars down there without getting caught. So it is not in the realm of impossibility. Yes it established Sachs being a rich and powerful business man that the city of NY adores and trusts. Why? because he has his hands in everything. The banquet scene shows how adored he is. Vague but is established.

Ah, didn't see much, but I did catch that one. Think he was leaning over Splinter after getting him out of the rubble..?
(Am I the only one that wonders if that scar was partly toothpick inflicted..? lol)

I noticed this in the trailers, when the tractor trailer is spinning it's wheels before going over the edge, the truck goes from having 2 sets or rear tires to 1 set then back to 2.

I could be wrong, but I thought that I noticed that Raphael's scar around his lip changed positions a couple times. It's something my brother pointed out and I feel like it was on the left side most of the time, but switched here and there.

Yeah I googled the history of bluetooth too before I posted here.
According to http://www.bluetooth.com/Pages/History-of-Bluetooth.aspx, the first digital camera was made in 2002.

just a slight mistake, when the turtles are in the elevator, you can see the light on the panel with all the floor buttons going up. well while theyre rapping or whatever, the light can be seen as only about halfway up the building, going up at a consistent pace. then it cuts to the screen showing the floors, it says 54, then the turtles run out on the roof and the lights on the top floor. they went through about 20 floors really fast.
not at issue, just something i caught

Not sure if so much a mistake, but they chopped the elevator scene down to a brief piece. I had taken screen caps of it a bit ago through via various trailers that had different parts of the elevator scene and put them in order according to the floor lights on the panel. They cut out a lot of it.. :ohwell:

The song that the Turtles listen to as kids before they play that bucket game is a recent song. Since this is a flashback it makes no sense.

That song came out in 2005. So 9 years ago, if they're 15 now they'd be AT THE OLDEST 6 years old in that scene, which fits.

i haven't seen the film....but equating mexico's corruption to a post 9/11 new york doesn't work in the slightest....even within the suspension of disbelief required for a movie. New York Police Dept is in a tizzy and calling in the FBI and CIA to help locate some punks who hung up bleached American flags.
it's possible that an explanation to how Sack's corruption is left unchecked and not scrutinized by homeland security is lying on the cutting room floor with half of the movie we know exists, but from what i gather is presented, it's weak.

He's a rat, rats have large, sensitive ears that pick up on the slightest of sounds. In this case, the beeping of a bomb timer.

*Spoilers* Probably seen as knit picky but these are just a few off the top of my head didn't care much for the film I tried to enjoy it but for the few things that they did alright there were just to many things that were not done very well.
The turtles can tie up an army of gun wielding foot soldiers with out being seen but they can't navigate a sewer tunnel with out getting stuck and then fart jokes....
The turtles are over 6 feet tall, they have human facial features, lips nostrils and they are too muscularly large and for the most part ugly.
They are bullet proof at least their shells I didn't notice if any bounced off their skin must have been luck I suppose.
They didn't really use any ninja moves that I can recall just over powering guys.
The only thing that really had any effect on them were the stun gun or for some reason they were not as fast as Shredder I guess it is being so big and shredders suit must give him super strength as he can jump massive heights and distances.
Shredders armour and the fact that he can shoot knives out that can knock over massive steel structures.
The turtles are strong enough to hold up said steel structures and it was the same thing from Amazing Spiderman as I recall a tower and a gas being released also Batman Begins gas was going to be released to the hero(s) have to save the day. Both movies seemed to rip on the villians ideas from Batman Begins.
Raph Jumped through the side of the van instead of using the door I thought the turtles would have regard for others property.
Raph had a cracked or possibly fractured shell yet he was still able to be thrown into a Hummer hitting his shell this makes me think they edited the scenes out of order.
It took to long to get the Turtles on screen I was liking the fact that they waited to build suspense but it was around 15 minutes in before I believe we saw them.
Raph couldn't break the glass of the cells they were in but a little adrenalyn and they can bust out of their restrains and jump through like regular glass.
Don's glasses and whatever technology he has and stuff all over him was way to much we know hes supposed to be the nerd or a geek they way over did it.
Giant mountain they were coming down had a sewer that was apparently 2.5 miles away from down town NYC where the battle with the shredder had to take place... correct me if I am wrong but isn't Manhattan an island and I don't see any massive mountains or cliffs that close to NYC it just didn't seem logical unless I missed something.
It didn't seem right that Splinter could fight the Shredder and seem as though he wasn't trying or to taunting him.
Splinter was able to learn ninjitsu out of a book in the sewer and then teach the turtles. I like the original origin that makes it seem even more odd with the fight against shredder.
It seemed odd and very coincidental that April knew the turtles and saved them etc but I guess I didn't mind that so much as its a nod to IDW I'd still prefer the original origin.
I may be in a minority but I'd like to see something of a hybrid of a TMNT movie more based on the comics in either a similar style to Sin City or 300. Issues 1-3 for the first film possibly then they could do the Space/Fugitoid story for a third Return to NY.
I found this on another thread that points out a lot of mistakes

Shredder leaving Raph despite saying earlier that another glass cage is ready for him.
I just assume that Sacks called him, saying everything is ready for him to launch the virus. He just left immediately, probably leaving Raph's weakened body for the scientists to sort it out themselves.
