Some good and bad news if you're in the UK.
Good News:
It looks like after disappearing from BBC 2 a few months ago that the original turtles cartoon is back on the CBBC channel.
Bad News:
I checked the BBC site and it looks like it will still be the edited Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles episodes.
Even though the new cartoon is airing as Ninja Turtles on GMTV and the new toys are sold as Ninja Turtles, the insane BBC are still, in the year 2003, airing the edited Hero Turtles episodes. :(
I guess we should be glad they didn't get the new cartoon....
Other News:
The Next Mutation is also airing from the start on Fox Kids, (I'm not sure if this is good or bad news).

Does the UK version any different from the US version? I need to check if I have BBC or not. Atleast I know one place where they have easy to use downloads of original TMNT. If you got a Windows 98 or higher.

I know I should be happy but bah. I refuse to watch the BBC's hacked and slashed version of the 80s toon. Some episodes are edited so badly and so much it's nearly impossible to understand what the Hell's going on. And Mikey without his 'chunks is just wrong.
Nope I think I'll wait until I get my lovely un-edited VCD's from my buddy in the US. Thank heaven's for the internet and tape trading. :)

Man United Kingdom is too lucky. If only there was an American Station that will get rights for the show. Or release them all on dvd by Season order.

Do you mean the GMTV airings or the BBC airings ? I thought the GMTV airings were keeping the 8:25am slot after Pokemon.

The time will be changing to 8:00am to make room for the New Adventures of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. I'm not sure when this will take effect tho

It'll probably be the first Sunday in September when the new He-Man starts and not this weekend, which would explain why GMTV still have it listed as 8:25am.
