Which artists (who have never drawn a full TMNT comic) would you like to see illustrate a TMNT story? If you'd care to elaborate on your choices, please do.

I'll start things off with a couple of picks from my own list:

1.) Masamune Shirow - I'm a big fan of his work . . . especially his apparent favorite subject matter: da womens! In addition to the Turtles, I'd really like to see his version of April and Renet. (Hell, I'd be happy to see his version of Klunk.)

2.) Skottie Young - Graff art is something I really like, and this guy's style is heavily influenced by it. Plus, his art is ultra-dynamic and hyper-clean . . . flat out slick and downright sick. I imagine that his take on the Turtles would be pretty wild and funky.

I'll probably add more artists to my list later.

Though it would never happen, I'd like to see Ron Spencer at least draw a picture of the TMNT. He's a Magic:tG artist who lives a few cities away from me. Cool guy.

Yu Watase would be interesting.

I agree with you MP, Michael Turner would be awsome. He's one of my favourite artists too. I'd also like to see Michael Whelan. He does really great fantasy and science fiction paintings for novel covers. I always loved Farley's paintings of the turtles.

I'd also be interested to see how Bryan Hitch (The Ultimates) would draw them. And Pat Lee's cover was awsome, I'd love to see mora that too.

Ron Spencer would be cool.
Next time Mr. Spencer is in town, I'll have to bribe him in to drawing one of the turtles for me. I woulden't mind seeing his interpretation on Bebop or Rocksteady either, as he does really good with mutants/monsters/odd things.

Although it would be interesting to see (bill?) Mack from Kabuki do a wacked out watercolor/collage of our heroes in green. Or a cool collage from Dave McKean (Sandman covers).

Heh heh, yeah, I'd love to do that too. There are a LOT of fan artists I'd love to see do an official story.

Besides Greg Capullo I'd like to see them drawn by some Manga artists like Watsuki Nobuhiro, Inoue Takehiko and Kishimoto Masashi.

I'd definately like to see Mark Bagley do a color TMNT series. I'd especially like to see his Casey, and April. I really like the way he draws people.

As for fan artists, Elite5Raph, and Kali would probably be my top choices.

I'd like to see the turtles done by Hiroyuki Takei, Yushihiro Togashi, Kubito, and even though I dun care for him much now a days I think it'd be intresting to see Akira Toriyama's take on the TMNT. People other than Manga artsist...which isn't my area of expertise...I'd say I'm curious how Jhonen Vasques would draw them...I heard he either had made a referance to TMNT or actualy drew one once...or something.
