Favorite Arc

What's your favorite arc from all of TMNT?
Mine would have to be the Leo one-shot just because how much it adds to the story.

Probably City at War? Or perhaps the arc in, I believe, 2003 series season 3 when it's all about Shredder, Karai, Bishop and Hun's conflict with the turtles.

The 'world tour' that began in Japan and ended on Stump Asteroid from the Archie run.

Hmmm. So many to choose from. It's a toss up between Raph meeting Casey Jones and The Battle Nexus.

Probably the Ninja tribunal. I loved the 2k3 series cause it still had to work within the kid friendly parameters but still gritty. It really pushed its boundaries and the Ninja tribunal arc was just so amazing, the fights, the scenery. I loved everything about it. With a lot of things you have a sense of what's going to happen next but I felt very blindsided a lot during that arc. In a good way.

But I can't for sure say that that is my favorite. There's just too many but Ninja Tribunal Arc will always have a place in my heart.

The Secret History of the Foot Clan. I'm on the fence about the whole reincarnation thingy until I read this mini-series. One of the best TMNT story in my opinion.

"Loops" taking place in issues 13 & 14 from Tales Of The TMNT vol. 2. A god-like entity needs a favor from Leonardo, but one is not enough, so he pulls Leonardos from the past, future & present to team up. So it's 4 Leo's (aged 8, 25, 40, & 105, I think) together on an interdimensional adventure, & it's really cool to see how the character's personality changes over the years. Plus you've got dimension hopping & time traveling & some deep thought provoking stuff. A very Mirage tale, as it's loaded with sci-fi & introspective stuff. Can't top Murph's writing!

Yes, it is.

Return to New York and City at War are very close to being my favourite, but the definite winner is the arc featured in Mirage vol 1: What Goes Around Comes Around & Silent Partner / Steve Barron film / 2k3 Shredder Strikes Back. It just completely captures true descent, damage and destruction and the bond of family / friendship and fighting spirit. It's also become rather iconic in the TMNT universe.
