The rest are trying to kill you. So basically, you can get either Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael to protect you while the other three are trying to kill you. Who do you pick? I saw this posted on a Mass Effect Facebook fanpage talking about the squadmembers and I figured this could be cool to talk about with TMNT. For me, it depends on the incarnation.

TMNT 1987- Leonardo
TMNT 1990- Raphael
TMNT 2003- Donatello
TMNT 2007- Raphael
TMNT 2012- Leonardo
TMNT 2014- Raphael

Never Michelangelo for sure. As much as I like Mikey, he is the weakest for sure. I don't think any incarnation of him could beat any of his brothers. So, like I said, which turtle would you pick to protect you while the rest are trying to kill you?

Not so much out of bias and rather more-so out of being one of the traits I respect and admire about him... seriously, I'm hiding behind the guy with the swords who devotes himself so fully to being/becoming a ninjutsu master and protector of others.

Preferably though he'd just have to fend them off while I get the hell out of there so he doesn't have to harm his brothers...

Not all are turtles. I've chosen turtles if I think they are the best fighters of their universe, but gone for other options if necessary.

TMNT 2007- Leonardo. If I'm gonna die, at least I'll go out with my favourite incarnation of Leo looking out for me. Plus, he's a Master. :P
TMNT 2003- Leonardo. Again, a strategist to form a good plan, I'd prefer Leo watching my back. :)
TMNT 2014- Raphael. He's one bad ass for sure. ;)
TMNT 2012- Splinter. Non-negotiable. :tmad:
TMNT 1987- I can't decide. I think I'd rather hire Lotus Blossom to do the job. Give the girl some gold and she's happy. :lol:
TMNT 1990- They do move quite slow, which is why they are bottom of the list. In terms of the original movie (disregarding sequels) ... Splinter. He kicks serious ass even when half dead. :o

But for this "what if" scenario, I'd choose 2012 Mikey. He might be lazy/unfocused but he has the most potential above his brothers (I remember reading somewhere or Splinter might've said that).

So in moments that truly matters, Mikey will truly shine.

Well having the other three trying to kill me doesn't make sense so I'll just answer in a general "what if you were in danger?" scenario.

Donatello. He can fight, which all of them can, plus he knows about technology and machines so if the situation involved it he could use it to our advantage.

He's really the only one who has a secondary skill now that I think about it. Leo is a straight forward warrior, Raph likes force and Mikey is the fun one.

It would have to be Leo from any incarnation. He's the most driven, his weapon has the longest reach and he'll cut a bitch if he HAS to. I could see him not wanting to go full-out against his brothers, but I'm pretty sure they've had practice "battle royal" fights many times and Leo's probably won the most of those. His ability to focus on the mission at hand would give him an edge, in my view.

I would pick either Leo or Donny. Leo is the most disciplined of them and generally realizes that for the sake of a mission, there will be sacrifices.

With Donny, he could probably build an impenetrable force field or something. Also, in the OT for one my fav eps, Combat Land, he did something interesting. Just like in Parasitica (sp?) in the Nick show, possessed Leo went after Donnie while Mikey had to deal with Raph. Same in Combat Land, only Raph had to deal with Mikey. Raph hesitated when attacked, even after realizing it wasn't the real Mikey. Donny didn't even before he knew and slapped Leo. Because of that, my head canon could see Donny doing whatever is necessary to keep himself protected with his gadgets or by physically fighting.

Raph and Mikey to me would hesitate a bit despite the medium.

I'd go with 2003 Mikey. He may be a goofball but occasionally proves that he can be the superior fighter.

Have to disagree there. It's been stated that he has the most natural talent out of the four (plus, in 2003- Battle Nexus Champ, so.... Yeah.), and even though he doesn't usually focus as much as the others, when it comes to a serious confrontation (even against his own brothers) he is clever and resourceful enough to step up and get the job done, probably while antagonizing them into making some critical mistake- and then taking advantage of it!

You know, I think even Nick Mikey could do what you said. It was silly, but in the Vengeance is Mine ep, he did get hits in on Leo and caught him off guard by using his injury to his advantage causing Leo to hesitate.

Proabably either Donny or Leo. She wears purple like Donny, but likes to weild double katana just like Leo.

But in truth, in the end, I would probably be better off with Mikey, because I am a real pain in the ass and like to get under other people's skin just for the hell of it. If I had to rely on Donny, Leo or Raph, more than likely they would have killed me themselves.
