Just got though season 1 yesterday on dvd. Next up vol 2 of season 2.

Not sure what is what season wise, I do know vols 2-6 cover seasons 2-3.

Volume 1 is season one, volume 2 is should be all 13 episodes of season 2. You can just buy a complete season 3 set. And pretty much all of them after that are complete sets. and the Europe season in the season 7 set is the side season of season 4. And the 2 episodes missing from season 5 are in the season 10 disc

Get used to seeing a LOT of Bebop/Rocksteady. They're in somewhere around 140 episodes tops and appear in almost every Shredder/Krang episode but a few.

I felt they were portrayed best in the first and second seasons. They were still a threat (season 1) and didn't seem to fear Shredder and Krang.

I don't recall Bebop and Rocksteady doing much in season 2 expect hanging out in the Technodrome. Season 2 was pretty much Shredder and Stockman.

Well at the time any OT turtle dvd that came out, I just pick up. So my collection has seasons 2-3 in vols 2-6, with season 4 follows that. I am pretty sure the season 3 set came later.

They do show up right away but don't really get excited, so far I only think Bebop and Rocksteady has ever worked in the IDW comics, all other times they seem pretty annoying and pointless to me. I think that has a lot to do with the facts that:

A, They were created to be toys first and characters second, as such they're just there to be there rather fill a needed role.

B, The cartoon quickly turned into a comedy and they had already decided they should be comic relief before that point but being the comic relief in a comedy renders them pointless.

Get the season sets, stay well away from the volume sets.

Mung said he met Shredder and Krang in Dimension X. Bebop and Rocksteady are their henchmen so they got no mention; therefore they were not transported as well. By that point, whenever Dregg was involved, it was always Dregg mentioned, not Dregg and Mung.

Dregg's second in command in season 10. He replaced High Tech.

Mung was Dregg's second in command in the final season of the OT. He brought Dregg Microbots and Batmen, so Dregg ousted Hitech immediately.

They actually felt like villains in the first season.Exactly, and it sucks that they had to be dumbed down to the point of being brainless goons. Even though I didn't mind this as a kid, it bugs me slightly whenever watching the show now.
