View Full Version : If YOU had a Techodrome

Got around to watching the series again, and in season 1 it was a powerful weapon, I not sure any thing on Earth could have stood up to it. Season 2 and on the Techodrome which was this death machine, seem to be running low on gas for some odd reason. It was funny that it needed a jump start all this time and got stuck in some odd places before being crush for good.
I always wonder why Shredder and Krang were never able to take over the world with that thing in season 1. But if you had the Techodrome under your command, would we have taken over the world were Shredder failed?
If I wanted to take over the world I rise it to the surface and go Godzilla on everything until all governments bow down to me, which I don't really recall Shredder every doing???
I think if I had the Tech Shredder had, all would bow down to me.
This is just a joke on my part, nothing serious. Just saying if I had the Techodrome and Krang's weapons and stone warriors, I really didn't see a reason why I would fail like they did.

Yeah, it is bizarre. Krang was obviously of genius intellect, but both he and Shredder were portrayed as bumbling oafs. That's just the way of a kids' show though - and Shredder did win in one episode if I recall correctly.
I think it was Jester who once asked why the villains didn't move a state or two over, as the turtles wouldn't be able to catch them in time (I think they did at one point). But kids shows aren't really supposed to be realistic.

If I had the Technodrome...?
Hmm..tough question to answer. It had lots of firepower, yet it sure sucked to maintain the thing in the cartoon. I guess the best part about it was that it was an all-terrain fortress. Unlike houses and apartments, you could just drive off if you didn't like your neighbors or just run over their house. *snicker*
Visiting new places would be a blast with that trans-dimensional portal.

I'd use it as a house considering I don't aspire to take over the world.

Me... Nah... I'll just park it in a popular part of town and repurpose it into some kind of unique sci-fi shop, restaurant, and tourist spot. lol If doing this in this world, then a large section is of course devoted to TMNT merchandise, etc.

The temptation to use it to take over the world (and reform it into my own twisted idea of what it should be) would be pretty overwhelming... but knowing me, I'd just convert it into a fortress of solitude with a million cats running around and futons all over the place.

If I had the Technodrome, I'd turn it into the ultimate man cave with arcade games, an indoor swimming pool, a go-cart race track, a home theater, a rock climbing wall, three dance halls and a massive dining room!

If I had a Technodrome? Well I would make an army of mutants instead of just two, I would send my robot ninjas after the snooping reporter rather than a random street gang, I would probably not be stealing stuff I don't need in the first place, I would attack my enemy with technological superiority rather than smear goop all over his home and hope that worked, I would not get a random scientist to make chicken robots I could make myself and I would definitly start out attacking the city with my giant golf ball on wheels rather making it the E-Plan.
Seriously, why was attacking the city with the giant death machine like the fourth or fifth plan?

I'd have the biggest electrical bill ever for charging up that beast... Or I'd get stuck in another dimension.

This. Oh, and use it to storm the Nick offices and force them to re-release the 2K3 series on DVD. :P

If I had the technodrome, I don't think I'd have any need to try to take over the world. I think I'd be in heaven. I'd use that HD transdimantional portal to watch my cartoons, and probably some football as well. I'll betcha the technodrome's got a great kitchen that has the ability to cook up any food I desire. I'd stock up the technodrome fridge with my favorite beers. Who even needs to take over the world? :D

I'd park it in the yard and put it on blocks.

I think I would need the right crew to drive that thing.

At first I'd be happy to have a huge fortress to live in.
Then I'd worry about its cost of maintenance. :(

I wouldn't use it's weapons or take over the world.
I always dreamed of using it as a home.
