Was there anything about a certain incarnation about TMNT that irks you? I put this in the general TMNT thread because this applies to the movies, tv shows, comics, etc. Like for example, In the 2012 Episode "Newtralized", How did the stolen Plutonium allow Newtralizer to teleport without being exposed by the radiation?

Still in process of rewatching the original series. Just reached the "red sky" episodes last night. And so far... eh.

I don't really care if they decided to go in a darker direction and make it more serious, that's fine, so far from what I've watched (and don't even recall if I saw these years ago or not, it's been so long) it seems like they entirely cut out the character's ability to smile or laugh at all ever. Sure the prior seasons got overly goofy, but at least let the later version laugh at least once in a while, at least for legit reasons...it's life after all. Makes me more grateful that the new series has struck a good balance between serious moments, epic, and humorous. (New movie - and 1990 - did pretty good on that front, too.)

It always bothered me that we didn't get more Archie inspired storylines in the cartoon. I've always wanted action figures of the TMNT in their Stump Wrestling uniforms.
