Kraang Conspiracy. Baxter Stockman annoys me to no end, and I did like the beginning of KC when April was tagging along with the Turtles, despite Raph's despair.

I'm having a difficult time with this one. Both episodes had certain things that partially irked me, but the eps as a whole wasn't so bad.

The Lonely Mutation of Baxter Stockman brought back Turflydle, and unlike the first time Mikey did this, this time around it didn't bother me and I liked how Mikey was teasing Raph. For me, anything with any of the turtles bonding or doing "sibling-like" things gets a plus in my book.

Baxter's mutation was very horror-movie like, but I was still a bit surprised they brought back Fly Baxter, but mainly because the reference would be lost on the kids of today. At least back in the 80s, the remake was done more recently. So yeah, the mutation was great, the design creepy, and his becoming so fly-like was really good.

I liked that joke with Leo and Casey. "Baxter, we don't want to hurt you..." *Casey throws something* "Well, Casey does." That type of humor always cracks me up.

Hm, I'm trying to remember what fully irked me about this episode in the first place. Oh!! Ace Duck! He couldn't make that happen! lol j/k Seriously, I forgot....Oh! I remember now! I hate the fact that no one mentioned Mutagen Man for this episode. It's like the writer's forgot, or Donnie wasn't sure how to even apply it to Timothy.

Oh, everyone trying to get the Mutagen was nice and fun to see for me and how determined April was to get her father back to normal and we did learn that April was immune to mutagen and why she's vital when creating retromutagen.

Other ep, I liked it too...but the pacing of the episode bugged me. I liked the addition of Kurtzman who was very knowledgeable of the Kraang and what they were up to, but it did make me suspicious of him too. I know he's a reporter, but he found out things that your average one shouldn't have been able to get unless he'd followed and looked into them for many years. He said he just started investigating "last year when the scientists started going missing". Nope, not buying it. He found all that information out in only a year? No no no, something is definitely up. He has to be connected.

I also liked the fact that April showed how determined she was to not ask for help whenever in trouble and showing off that redheaded trait of stubbornness. I also liked the part where Donnie got that cool look, and then slammed that fake April into the control panel thing to open the room they were trapped in. I also wish they'd used another way to differentiate real April from the fake ones, like maybe having her take out her hair ribbon...but I know CG is limited. Where'd she pull that fan from. She had no pockets and why would the Kraang have let her keep it anyway? When did they strip her down and change her clothes? Still feels like everything happened too fast.

So...I think I'll go with Lonely Mutation.

TLMOBS. It has a better cohesive story and just flows better. Stockman, Rahzar, and Donnie all get good development. And it's nice to see Retromutagen come into play. This fells like it was thought out and had a good conflict, even if it was an episode to introduce a new mutant and get rid of an old one.

The Kraang Conspiracy fells more like a bad fanfic than an actual episode of a show. Sure it's more original, but that doesn't make it better. It's a sloppy, unfocused mess that has too many twists and turns for its own good. Wait, did Shamalyan direct this?

Baxter of course, his mutation is pretty sad and traumatizing. Plus I love how they tied up April in a suggestive position.

The Lonely Mutation of Baxter Stockman definitely! First the mutation of Baxter Stockman, a key villain in pretty much all TMNT universe. And then the de-mutation of Kirby O'Neil. Two major plot advances in one day! Eat it KC! EAT IT! HAHA! BOW CHIK-A BOW BOW! :tlol:

Just listen to the audience reaction when Baxter Fly was revealed during SDCC 2013:

It seems that they really like showing April's "you know what".

I voted Kraang Conspiracy because it was more innovative and satisfyingly creepy... But I think Lonely Mutation has this won. Oh well. :ohwell:

She also had a nice shot in Mutagen Man Unleashed.

I really hated the kraang conspiracy and thought it was the worst episode in the show and re watched it and didn't hate it so much but April Derp is an awful character and it felt very rushed .

*my Anaconda don't want none unless you got buns, hon!* :tlol:rofl!! And we know Casey likes back. :P

See, this is why I feel Donnie's liking of April is more innocent. Even when he was getting glances of April with Metalhead, he wasn't focusing on her body. He was focusing on her face going on about how wonderful and pretty she was. In other words, Casey comes across as the hormonal teenager, Donnie doesn't to me.

Casey was like, "I like what I see, Giggity!" :P And he was pinching it when in April's body, so...

The Lonely Mutation of Baxter Stockman. Didn't really care much for Baxter being a fly again, I prefer 2K3's 'Many Mutilations & Upgrades of Baxter Stockman' :twink:

BUT it was still a good episode which had a good balance of comedy and drama, Donnie developed Retro Mutagen, nice seeing Rahzar again and loved the banter between Raph & Mikey.
