So, a friend of mine mentioned that these seemed familiar to him and was wondering if I remembered them. I actually don't so much, although Donny Krueger seems familiar.
Anyone else ever have these? Any Halloween Turtles memories in general? You know, like did you dress as the turtles for Halloween, that type of thing.

Ah those are cool looking! :D

I did once when I was young. Certainly wasn't the level of costumes that are around now, that's for sure. (Well, except those movie masks. I am somehow both terrified and amused at those.)
Edit: Remember big kids, be safe on Halloween! If you see these faces
JUST LOCK THE FRIKKING DOOR AND HOPE A SHREDDER COMES TO SAVE YOU.

From left to right: Creature that lives in the abandoned ruins of a Disney movie castle; cheap preschool-age show character; and the backwoods brothers who'd just love to get you into their van. If Mikey offers to show you his banjo... you don't want to know, but just play along, it's already too late.

8) Playmates should have produced these figures instead of so many other crap. Matter of opinion.

Pretty cool.Are these official concepts?
If they are they probably didn't make them for 2 reasons...couldn't get the license from each movie franchise and they'd be linked to rated-R movies.

He's a regular Dr. Frankenstein the way he put all those little parts together into something new!

Aw man, I was so hoping these were real. I would've loved to get Donny Krueger.
Imagine more TMNT Slasher movie figures:
* Sadakarai
* Jigsplinter
* Casey Ghostface
* Batespril
The list goes on...

Yeah, in the Universial Studios Monsters line, those are legit.

if only if only... lol anyone else look at them and then look at there duplicates and go hmmmmm.....
They looked pretty real since they fooled me for a second. No way they would've made TMNT figures of R movies though even though we did have Alien/Predators figures at the time as well and Freddy/Jason were household names with kids.
but anyway this thread has potential for so much more, the OP said this:

I had all the Universal Studios Monster line (series 1), I don't really know why I had them all since while I thought they were cool I can't see myself choosing them over another variant but I just don't remember maybe I did or maybe they were on sale and my mom picked them up? I did play with them enough times but later found them difficult to put into my more "mature" storylines :lol:
As far as dressing up as TMNT for halloween I am not sure if I ever did, I recall getting a TMNT costume that had the bandanna the weapons and i don't know what else, maybe a shell shirt? But I don't recall if I ever used it for halloween or only for playing in my house.

Haven't seen the movie series, but I think if we grab that Donnie, Leo, and an April we can do Twilight now? :lol:

thanks for ruining these figures for me....:(
on a side-note i remember awhile back someone did custom figures similar to these so maybe thats where the confusion is coming from some people... they were a lot darker though then these figures... these figures look like they could have been legit since they remind you of the horror characters they are meant to represent but still have the light hearted fun feel of the turtle line...

Thought I'd post this here, could be a cute idea for a Halloween treat. :D Though think I'd be experimenting with my own versions well. (Green marshmallow maybe? lol)

For any that haven't seen them, saw that the movie's Pinterest page has Turtles pumpkin patterns, for those so inclined.
