TMNT A Contender In Radio Times "Best Kids TV Show" Poll

[ZariusTwo]

The UK television listings magazine Radio Times has launched a new competitive vote-driven tournament pitting 128 kids shows against one another to determine the best of all time. Each show has been paired up against another in, what I have to call some very random brackets (ex: My Little Pony against Tracie Beaker, Rugrats against Thomas the Tank Engine, He-Man against Peppa Pig, Pokemon against Clangers etc)

Anyway, also included is TMNT (which RT also refer to as HERO Turtles), pitted against 'Round The Twist

Hope they don't mind American votes.

Wow, brings back memories, a few things there I haven't thought of in years.

Since about 60% of these shows were never released in America, it's no surprise that most of those that were released on both sides of the pond are leading the poll. Notable exceptions are DuckTales, Barney (it's not a great show to be honest), GI Joe (it wasn't even named that in the UK), and The Magic Schoolbus. And an upset is in the making with Arthur currently leading Spongebob. And even Thomas the Tank Engine, well known on both sides of the pond is losing out to Rugrats. It should be an interesting tournament though.
