You can vote for the movie at the People's Choice Awards. It is up for the Favorite Movie and Favorite Action Movie categories. Megan Fox could also be nominated for Favorite Female Movie Star. I really enjoyed the film and Fox was decent, so I decided to vote.

Come on green team. :D

Ok, no matter my view on some elements of the film, I gotta pull for them on this. ;) Sequel already set to happen for better or for worse, so if anything the People's Choice is at least a nice additional opportunity for TMNT to be in the public eye and hopefully continue to try to gain respect as fictional heroes and something more than just a kid's thing. (Speaking of which, I find it interesting they are not in the family movie category.)

No, I didn't knew. But I don't think it's the best idea to vote for competitors if we want TMNT to gain maximum (as maximum as it is possible with the quality of this film:tsmile:)
Anyway, thanks for help:)

I've seen bits and pieces of her in that Divergent movie, and I just don't get what the deal is. I wished Elle Fanning and Chloe Grace Moretz were getting roles in major movies like this chick is. Isn't she supposed to be in the next Spider-Man? (if they make it)

Eh, whatever.

If it helps any I'll help pop the fame bubble by saying: Who?

Honestly haven't a clue who that is. (And filmography is no help, haven't seen any of that... Oh well.) The Turtles are the only real stars at that link far as I'm concerned. :P Sadly it won't be them getting the recognition if they win... makers really aught to at least give them a shout out.

Come to think of it, guardians aside as summer competition, tmnt has stronger competition with winter soldier, xmen and planet of the apes. Even though I didn't see it nor care to I assume divergent will have it's strong following too.

I'd be honestly surprised if tmnt wins any category. The only category I saw Megan fox in was the action girl category and um... No. No she's not. At least not compared to the black widow and the divergent.

And Jennifer Lawrence, she kicked all sorts of ass as Mystique X-Men DOFP.

But my number one favorite movie of the year is definitely Captain America 2, The Winter Soldier. That could change with Mockingjay Part one or The Hobbit BOTFA.

But, I am expecting TMNT to be a favorite for the MTV movie awards next year. MTV is owned by Viacom/Paramount, and they are not shy about selfless advertisement of their own films.

Hmmm that is right. Although it's not like they can rig votes.... Um.... Can they?

I mean what if the vast majority votes for winter soldier? Are they really gonna say 'screw what they say, let's say tmnt won cause we gotta promote our stuff'?

My votes were for TMNT, Days of Future Past, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Guardians of the Galaxy, and The Winter Soldier. As for best actor, I didn't vote for Ben Affleck since I just can't stand him with all the press he gathers! That said, there's lots of stuff; I haven't even heard of half of the cable TV series/actors listed. I actually took time to vote for every category (takes about 15-20 minutes), and its a great way to see what you've been missing over the past year if you've been out of the loop, which is why I may have missed some good votes here. At the end of the day, I'd say TMNT will be lucky just to get nominated as a top five.
