View Full Version : Kraang Prisoners

We know that the Kraang likes to take prisoners. Newtrailizer, Kirby O'Neil, and April O'Neil have all been captured by the Kraang at one point. Then there was that guy they captured and switched his mind with a pigeon. So what I'm wondering is, who all is being held by the Kraang?

When Donatello freed Kirby O'Neil and encountered the Newtrailer, maybe there were many other prisoners. What I'm leading up to is, could some of our missing characters be Kraang prisoners? April's mother and Irma come to mind.

Does anyone else have any missing characters in mind that might be held by the Kraang? I'm not blaming the Kraang for every missing character without having evidence, but the Kraang are involved in both the April's mother and Irma situations, so those two characters as prisoners seems plausible.

Another example would be that episode where the Kraang captured most of the mutant characters in the show. So yes, the Kraang are very much into taking prisoners. Perhaps the future actions of the Kraang can be somewhat predicted based on what they have already done (such as invading the city twice, there seems to be a pattern).

Irma was a robot. End of story. Y'all need to stop desperately clinging to fanon when it's very clear she was nothing more than a Kraang spy.

^ This plus there was no way there could've been other prisoners than the Newtralizer when Donatello freed Kirby. Donnie had opened all the cells. Most likely, the prisoners would've run out and turned the prison into a madhouse.

It is plausable that she could be a Kraang Prisoner since she doesn't start asking April about her "Secret Friends" until after Rats and Men.

But the only people we definately know could be a prisoner of the Kraang is April's Mother. I still stand by the headcannon that April's mother is Monalisa so by that reguard Monalisa is a captive of the Kraang.

^ Couldn't have said it better myself.

There was a ton of prisoners in that episode where they lost metalhead. Of course it was all mutants and the usual ones (slash, squirrels, cat octopus thing, etc). Pretty much almost every mutant they fought on the side.

Where were you when I made that exact theory weeks ago?:P

I just had a thought. If April's mother is still out and Mae Whitman's mom use to played Mona Lisa in the OT then do you think they will use her to play April's real mother and get to be Mona Lisa in this version too?

I actually had this and mentioned this theory long before you did. Mae Witman being related to Pat Musick the original voice of Monalisa is interesting.

I know she had been originally brought on as a love interest for Raphael and the end of her dabute episode did suggest that she would be a reoccuring if not regular character. Unfortunately much like other supposedly reoccuring TMNT characters such as Man Ray, she is put on the bus and never seen again.

So having Pat come back as April's mother would give a new origin to the character also show that not every female human/mutant/alien/whatever has to be a love interest for one of the Turtles.

And it can also make room for characters such as Ninjara to make a possible televised appearance.

Ok, my bad.

Thing is though, what can you do with Ninjara so that she doesn't end being Karai's replacement clone? She doesn't have any rememberable traits other then being Raph's girl friend and not a lot of personal conflicts or flaws other then dealing with Raph's bitching.

There is making Joi and Ninjara one and the same. In the 2k3 Raph and Joi weren't particularly love interests, but they did have flurtacious way of sparing. So that could translate to love interest in some form, and that is how I can see Ninjara with Raph. The two are more or less sparing buddies. I don't want to go into the stereotype of having a female character have reactions to perceived chovanizism. I.E. "You think I can't handle it because I'm a girl."

But it would be good to have a jocky "You call me a chick, you die." type girl.

I suppose the Kraang have got Irma, recaptured a lot of the minor mutants, and maybe a few others like April's real parents.

I have to admit, at first my arms were cross because the character's background sounded too simply and short but then I realize "You know...not every damn character in the show has to have a 1000 word bio written on themselves, especially for minor recurring ones".

Now the only thing she needs is a solid design, which is fortunately a given in this show. Still I just can't behind the blond hair even if she only part asian so blond hair has to go. Maybe she wears a kitsune mask to represent her avatar?

Joi's avatar was a Hawk not a kitsune. Though her last name Raynard which is what male foxes are called.

I think she should be a mutant from the first meeting. So much like Mrs. O'Neil she would already have been mutated. Not mutated for sheer convenience of having another mutant on the show or to bring drama from a tragic situation.

With Karai we knew from the moment she was hoisted over the mutagen she'd end up in it which really took away from the tragedy that was her mutation. So even if it's something we see coming, it's not something we roll our eyes and say "Well that was predictable."

So maybe both Joi and Mrs. O'Neil are prisoners of the Kraang or Joi is a random citizen of New York who has been abducted to be part of the Shredder's mutant army.

If she starts out human and becomes a mutant, I want it to be something that the Turtles or Joi can't do anything about. For example she goes to help Raph, or Raph's brothers, or someone from a getting hit by a river of mutagen, but she is unfortunately unable to save herself. And her last words before she mutates should be "Raphael, avenge me!" Much like her last words before she supposedly died in the 2k3.

When Raph is about to go help her the other Turtles have to restrain him and tell him there is nothing that he can do to help her so he can only watch in horror as she is rendered into a mutant fox. We know the mutagen is unstable and it needs the DNA of something to render the mutation and even then its a crapshoot.

As for how she would turn into a mutant fox, maybe she had a pet fox.

Ray Fillet should be a prisoner. Just say he's an alien.

I know her avatar is a hawk. I just thought when you meant combining the two characters together that her avatar would be a fox instead a hawk to represent Ninjara.

I wanted her to not to be a mutant to add some variety so that why I thought of a kitsune to bring some supernatural element to the mix, but honestly could be anything as long the execution is good.

I had an idea a while back for Alopex's origin, that she was a regular fox that was rescue by an thief who recently stole mutagen from the Kraang for either the Shredder or anybody else and when the fox was recovering with the thief, she/he was shot by a stray bullet which hit mutagen tube and landed on the fox. After she becomes a mutant, she dedicates her life to avenge the thief that save her life.

The thief could be Joi/Lotus and fox could be Ninjara so it would be sorta combining two characters into one.

I will admit that my idea is a little weak compare to yours. Your idea sounds realistic or likely to happen given to the circumstances of previous events.

I had an idea for Ninjara:

Shredder and company decided to mass-produce mutants using Brad's dojo as a front. Unfortunately, the results turned out mindless, incredibly weak, or otherwise failures. None survived bar a few. Raphael enters Brad's dojo and suddenly eyes a squat, wretched little fox mutant. This degenerate runt of the litter forms a bond with Raph. The two of them have to help each other escape the dojo, which has entered lockdown mode.

Once they nearly get out, Rahzar corners them, ready to eliminate the last few of the mass-produced mutants. Rahzar manages to get the drop on our heroes, but the little one, who Raph has named "Cubby", takes a blow for Raph, making her shatter a canister of ooze. Raphael, believing she will die, shows no mercy to Bradford and defeats him. He turns back, and sees that "Cubby" has become a beautiful fox-woman. Raph decides to name her Ninjara.

On-Topic: I think Traximus should be in there as a prisoner.

Traximus, Manza Ram, and Zog should prisioners of the Kraang.
