Mine...

- Graphic novel-style art of a civilian being put face-first through a window & one of the Turtles staring at the corpse in horror.

- Saki's neck crack.

- The homage shot of them falling with the moon above them.

- "There's someone important we wanna introduce you to, but FURST." (best pronunciation of the word "first" ever).

- Splinter tucking the baby turtles into bed. Can't imagine many not finding this cute.

- Donnie's first time threatening someone "Come alone. Or... you will be punished.. and stuff."

- Splinter going berserk on some Foot Soldiers.

- Leo's panicked "DONNIE" when the tazers hit him.

- Brian Tyler's switch in score when the Turtles surrender their weapons.

- 'Careless Whisper'.

- Raph appearing from the back of the truck. This made everyone jump in the theater & then laugh straight after.

- "Say that again. I wanna hear your voice." Fitchner cracks me up. Reminds me of his sleazy character from 'Go'.

- "Are you saying there's-A CLIFFFFFFFFFFFFFF".

- Cowabunga being used like Yippee-ki-yay.

- Raph's shy grin.

(this is not an invitation to slag off the movie. majority of the threads are dedicated to that as it is).

When Mikey made the "boom- mind blown" reaction at the end, I just love seeing Leo's surprised expression and you can see as his eyes change to light color during that moment.

Splinter kicking ass

The comic style opening with the awesome score

the Elevator Mc Mikey Scene

I'm a snapping turtle fool

the whole line were ninja's were mutants technically were turtles were also teenagers doesn't mean we can't have adult conversations.

Also its nice to finally have some POSITIVE topics about this movie.

You have an entire invitation-only discussion group about it.

You're not being oppressed over there, Kunta Kinte. Stop acting like you are.

To topic: I like the general idea of what Raph's speech was supposed to convey, but they should have put more in the movie itself to build to it.

I really liked the moment where Leo screamed "dad!" when Splinter was essentially defeated. That had some weight to it.

Shredder mocking Splinter when he referred himself as the father of the turtles, and of course "dining on turtle soup"

and of course "dining on turtle soup"

Yeah, honestly shocked that took them this long to work into a movie.

I also liked that Shredder spoke a lot of Japanese, primarily out of the suit, but it was nice.

"Ram the gate!"

"Ram the gate? This is Channel Six property!"

One of the few times I found Vernon funny, his delivery was pretty good.

Little stuff works since it's a collection of it that makes up a lot of what I do like (but be warned it's also fave Turtle heavy) and some of this is prob going to be really subtle details some may overlook...

Leo still keeping guard when we first see them on the roof and how they freeze when the camera flashes.

When April first meets Leo. Just feels like, "B*tch you just met the leader, and you potentially pose a serious threat to his family - you best just ****ing run the hell out of there." lol

That deliberate slow blink when Leo steps toward April after she quietly repeats his name. Mocap is so awesome for getting subtle important body language. Deeefinitely asserting his superiority with that and a clear unspoken "EXCUSE you?" at April. :trazz:

"I only saw Batman once."

"Dad!"

Can't remember if the snarly "Cowabunga" from Raph was in the film or only in trailers... suspect maybe only trailer. Not big on this Raph but liked that.

When Raph and Vern meet.

When they're running high on adrenalin and fall splat to the lower floor.

Foggy memory, but Leo's little jump when they're running out of that place. Amusing to me because the Leo in the first movies tends be a little 'jumpy' as well, if you will.

Donnie being the one to go help unconscious Leo (snow scene) and the "badass" line.

After sneaking back home and hanging their weapons up, when Raph pushes Leo's face away....the momentary look Leo gives toward Raph. Poor guy's so insulted. lol

Shushing contest.

When Mikey starts up in the elevator and Leo looks at him a bit perplexed. And then when he tries so hard to remain serious...

Baby Turtles of course... dear god.

Sh*t dude, your list is even better than mine :tlol: Leo definitely had the best subtle moments. Yeah that slow-blink in particular as the others turn to her silent like "....why did you just say his name....?". Love little moments like that.

There's a moment where Donatello hits a dude with his bo and it kind of flips in the air in the opposite direction and he catches it. That was pretty cool.

Yeah, that was pretty snazzy.

- Saki. The baldness reminded me of Nick Shredder. He was a total bad-ass. The CGI Shredder really took a lot away from him cause he was so fake it really could have been anybody under there. Really wish they kept Saki throughout the movie.

- scene of Shredder about to slice down on Leo (I think) and Raph blocking the shot

- elevator scene

- April Fox ass shot. Yeah, sorry, but um... yeah.

- 'stupid rich' and 'drain them of their blood, even if they die' cause.... so horribly bad it's good.

The guy who played Saki Was perfect i really hope they build on him and keep him it would be epic

That the main thing that i love so much about this movie is the Actors and the characters they play I love all the turtle and all the little things about them. I loved Splinter, I loved Saki and shredder when we saw them

Not sure I even saw that. Too busy watching the Leo/Mikey side of the group when Mikey's making another April comment. lol Was a little disappointed that he said nothing of the "adult conversations" comment, but Leo's reaction to the "my girlfriend's the hogosha" comment made up for it. lol

As much as I HATE this 'interpretation', I have to say Tohoru Masamune did an excellent job for the bare bones minimum scenes and dialogue he had. His interactions with Karai were nice, his Japanese dialogue delivery was intimidating & sounded cool as hell and his belittling of the turtles and Splinter reminded me of the arrogance of Scottie Ray's Shredder. I still think James Saito's physicality and expressions were better over all but it wasn't his voice so if any one comes close to what he did it's Masamune. Masamune's not too old either they could even use him for a reboot you know actually 'honoring the franchise' hopefully around 2020 :tcool:

The only other thing for me was the 'Daddy' line from Leo it was surprisingly emotional and got to me for some reason, I also liked Leo the most in this one and Raph in ALL 1990 Movies, TMNT but not this one at all so yeah that's it for me.

Yeah Masamune nailed the voice. I wanted to hear him monologue & he never really did. And yeah, loved Leo's "Dad, Dad, Dad, what are you doing?!?" He knew sh*t was getting real.

That baby mutant turtles scene with Splinter tucking them into bed. As Splinter passes Leo baby Leo reaches up, grabs his finger then cuddles up to it. Really sweet scene that subtly references Leo's love for Splinter.

"This cat is playing chopsticks, with chopsticks!"

"I totally talked to a girl!"

"That's what they get for steppin' to the Wu (Wooo!) Tang!"

What I love about that shot, and many others featuring all four turtles, is that the turtles are each animated doing something different even though the focus is on Leo hugging Splinter. In that one shot Michelangelo is stretching, Raphael is sucking his thumb, and Donatello is rubbing his eyes and there's a lot of personality in the animation of all four even though it would've been a lot easier to just have the other three sleeping and staying relatively still when Leo hugs Splinter.

For all its failings there is a lot to praise in this movie. I loved....

- the opening credits
- the first glimpse of the turtle at the docks
- the subway scene with the turtles visible only in brief bursts of light
- the shot where they jump from the building with the moon behind them, (in part, helped by Brian Tyler's score)
- the turtles' shells
- Splinter v Shredder
- "Your sons? You think you're their father?"
- Leo, Don and Mike trying to get to Splinter
- the emotion in Raphael's face when he sees Splinter wounded
- the lair raid
- the sound of Raphael's cracking shell was horrific
- kiddie turtles watching the world they can never be part of from the storm drain
- Raphael is the only turtle who doesn't bow to April when they learn she rescued them from the fire - somehow this encapsulates a bit of the resentment of what they are, which is important to his character (also betrayed by the tone in which he says "we're mutants")
- Donatello. Just.... because.
- The few brief moments of martial arts / weapons action
- Raph having a weep
- The expression on Leo's face when Raphael is pouring his heart out
- The mask-donning moment
- "I've already disabled the security system..." (or whatever the line is)

:)

I thought that was awesome too it made them look so mysterious and badass, also the part after that scene where u see all the foot soldiers tied up along the wall. Kinda reminded me of the first movie when April is getting mugged and u see Raph's sai smash a light and everything goes dark. When the cops show up u see the thugs tied up and unconcious.

- Saki. I wish they'd have just gone with him from the git go.
- The animated opening was cool.
- Whoopi Goldberg, Taran Killam and Abby Elliott.
- When I was looking for Baxter the other day I noticed April's dad was sprayed with ooze as he was destroying the lab. I wonder if that was going to lead to something that was edited out, or will be used in a the sequel.

Scene that made me roll:
Raph slamming the Hummer is even more ridiculous in the movie as he doesn't just crumple it, but send it flying 50-60 feet....and some how disappears.

Some repeat reasons I also liked:
Dad! Dad! Dad! - Knoxville nailed it, and Pete nailed the expressions.

Dine on turtle soup IN JAPANESE was effing awesome.

Say that again, I want to hear your voice...

When Donnie hits a soldier the bo flips up and he catches it, and also when Raph grabs a gun and beats a soldier with it.

Anytime the Turtles were on the screen to me, was great. Personalities were perfectly done.

Loved the adrenaline scene.

When Raph gets knocked down by Shredder and does that kip up back to his feet.

The whole snow chase scene.

The very end of the movie is great, Raph's facial expressions when he thanks April for not exposing them is amazing, and Mikey was hilarious like the whole movie.

When Donnie is asking April if she knows where she is and Mikey goes "Have you seen the cat do chopsticks WITH the chopsticks?!"

The subtleties are there if you look for them, like Raph just having to be on his own, when the other 3 bow to April after learning she's the Hogosha Raph stays up, always the skeptic.

The elevator scene where Mikey's drummiing with nunchucks.

Hope the 2nd movie has Mikey playing on a set of drums or even a snare drum.
