So how damaged Oroku Saki eye through the fire?
Did Hamato Yoshi the injured with some sharp thing?

Since it's cloudy I just assume it's from Shredder getting burned and scarred from the fire, damaging his eye too. If it was damaged with something sharp I'm not sure he'd even still have an eye.

Imagine how well he'd fight with 2 eyes. Can you say "Turtle Soup"?

So why hasn't Shredder's imperfect vision been treated as a weakness yet?

Probably because Shredder have had over a decade to get used to his bad eye.

His eyeball is still intact, unlike Steranko's "glass eye"

It was probably damaged by the fire (along with half his face) but maybe it didn't ruined his vision completely. The damage could be appearance only, and he could still see alright.

Even if his vision has degraded (or gone), I doubt it will affect his ninja skills much. His fighting style seems to suggest his vision isn't the most crucial among his other senses. He can probably fight blindfolded like Master Splinter does.

I think it was damaged in the fire, but he may still have some vision in it since it hasn't impeded him in the fighting area. I'm blind in one eye myself, and I can tell you that not everything is easy that way. I was awful at sports and I know I'd make a terrible ninja, but maybe Shredder's the type to adapt easily so maybe he's able to compensate for that.

He's a ninja master. Period.

Bruce Lee could have gone blind & still kicked your ass, you know? :tlol:

I'd never really actually though about it in too much depth, but now I have a mental image of some of his minions being passive-aggressive and moving Shredder's stuff around just to mess with his depth perception, after he's yelled at them. :tlol:

Ah, I have many questions about around this. :tgrin:

So How become he's eye be hurt in fire?
- Get one fire flame in the eye?

-Splinter scratched/hit him in the eye
-It is a blind eye, or at least one with poor vision. Otherwise the colour wouldn't be so off. But because Shredder is a great ninja, it doesn't bother him.

I don't think Splinter hit him in the eye. I was under the impression that the fire damaged it.

What's up with eyes lately? Shredder's eye possibly burned in fire, Anton Zeck shooting the military guy in the eye, Snake Karai spitting acid in Raph's eye...
I wonder if that left a mark on him too?

This, more or less. It may have taken him some time to learn to compensate for the lack of depth perception, but as a ninja master, he's honed all his senses, to the point of not needing to rely on sight alone.

And Shredder has a large amount of burned skin around that eye, which indicates fire damage... though now I imagine Yoshi resorting to throwing hot embers in his face during their battle...

Nah, I see Fishface or Rahzar doing that more than R&B. They both have reasons to be ticked at him now since they keep getting pushed down the ladder of rank. Or maybe Tiger Claw? He's expressed a few doubts about his leader's motives and decisions....

But should the eye be intact if he got embers in it?
